Works well for me
I have no complaints with this crib. It was economical to purchase, and easy to assemble. It also has a nice finish. I did break the wheel on it, but that's pry b/c I was trying to use the crib as a crutch -- my advice, dont use the crib as a crutch and you probably wont break the wheel! :D

Lovely crib
This is a simple, lovely crib. The wheels are convenient if you need to rock your baby, though you cannot move the crib from one room to another as it is larger than common doors. We've had for a few weeks, our baby loves it, and we love it too!

Not USA made
I was looking for a crib made in the USA. I Googled Made in the USA crib and "Orbelle" was the first on the list. Orbelle - Welcome to Orbelle Trade Inc, the makers of high-end ... Bloomberg Business week states: ORBELLE Trade INC. manufactures and markets juvenile furniture. The company offers wooden cribs, convertibles, and toddler beds. Orbelles' website: Since our doors first opened, Orbelle Baby and Teen Furniture has been a family owned and operated business.Orbelle Baby and Teen Furniture is a leading company of kids convertible beds in the country with exclusive designs and colors. Sounds like they make cribs in USA. Great just what I was looking for.I went on to Amazon and searched for Orbelle cribs. Reasonably priced. I wasn't looking for an expensive crib. My 18 month grand- daughter is visiting this summer and I wanted something simple for her to sleep in. I thought this design would work great. This summer use the crib with both full sides. Next summer use the half rail. The following summer no rail. USA made? I looked to see where it was made. No where did it say where it was made. I double checked the Orbelle website. Yeap, manufactures furniture. USA made. Perfect. At least so I thought.I ordered the crib. Free Shipping. The shipping was really quick. Two days the crib was on my front porch. The box was a bit beat up. Then, there it was in big black letters MADE IN CHINA! I was so mad. I didn't open the box for a week. I felt that I was duped. My husband and I finally put the crib together. It went together very quick. It is a cute crib and the shipping was fast. I would have felt much better about it if I hadn't been lead to believe that this was a crib made in the USA. This is not Amazon's advertizing but the fault of Orbelle.

Poorly advertised
We ordered this crib from another seller through Amazon and it originally was advertised as the version that includes the toddler guard rail. Then they switched what they offer and wouldn't honor the original version and now advertise it without the guard rail and wanted us to pay extra. After going through Amazon, it was finally resolved by a refund for the guard rail and we felt better about the experience. The crib itself is okay. The wood thickness is slightly less than we hoped, but the overall appearance is nice. The wheels are great, and allow us to move the crib away from the light from the windows during the day and put our child in the darker part of the room for napping. Overall a good basic crib. Would recommend finding the version with the toddler guard rail, though. It is an older version but a better bargain.
