This is a beautiful, heavy & well made faucet. The installation was easy. It took a lot more time to dismantle the old faucet & drain than installing this new faucet. Do NOT use plumber’s putty with this install. Grohe includes black rubber gaskets that plumber’s putty will dry out & degrade – eventually creating a leak. Those gaskets work great at keeping the drain & faucet from leaking water.If you don’t use the black rubber gaskets, you can use plumber’s putty. You can also use a bead of clear silicone around the drain & around the faucet if you want belt & suspenders. We went with the gaskets & teflon tape around the metal drain threads. Don’t use teflon tape or anything on the hot/cold water connections. And don’t overtighten things. It’s a good idea to keep the inside of the sink cabinet clear for at least 24 hours to make sure you don’t have any leaks. Use the sink/faucet & check for any little drips that may occur with a loose pipe connection.Grohe has good videos showing installation and there are good videos on YouTube. Grohe makes good faucets. We have several & they have all been excellent & easy to install.

I ordered this to use on a new modern shallow basin GROHE sink. Unfortunately the sink has a small lip around the faucet hole preventing this faucet from seating properly and covering the hole completely. This isn't my 1st GROHE faucet, I consider them a mid to high end faucet and have performed flawlessly for years. Something I was counting on from the listing and the same information for this faucet is incorrect on the GROHE USA website is, this does NOT have the AquaGuide bubbler, instead it's a standard bubbler. The AquaGuide bubbler is adjustable, allowing you to change the flow of water coming out and controls any splashing. This is something I definitely wanted for my very shallow sink. This also has an older style plunger to control the stopper. It looks like a wire coming out of the back of the faucet. This comes with the new matching drain and stopper. I'm not a fan of this type of drain stopper so ordered a push down style, and placed a dab of silicone over the plunger hole on the unseen back of the faucet. Overall I'm pleased with it quality even though it didn't work out with my GROHE sink, IL use it in a spare bath. Just Remember if you're in need and shopping for a GROHE faucet with AquaGuide, even though it says it is, I can confirm it is NOT!Hopefully this was helpful, Thank you!

I had this faucet installed recently as part of a bathroom remodel. I didn't install it myself. I held the faucet in my hand before installation and it felt hefty and well made. The style is more bulky/plain than other Grohe products I've used, but I am happy with the look.The functionality is great. The water flows nicely and has good clearance so water doesn't splash onto the countertop. The handle easily controls the flow of water and temperature. The one thing I don't like about this faucet and all Grohe bathroom faucets is the stopper control. It looks cheap and doesn't match the rest of the faucet. My faucet is chrome and the stopper is a dull silver. In my old condo, I took the stopper control off of the faucet because I didn't like the look. My mirror was lower in that place though and it annoyed me to see the stopper in the reflection. My mirror is higher in the new place, so it's not as easy to see, so I'm planning on keeping it for now.Overall, I think this faucet is a good choice. It functions well and it looks nice. It's also more budget friendly than other Grohe bathroom fixtures I've used.

I recently upgraded a bathroom sink/faucet and purchased the chrome GROHE 23990003 Eurosmart Single-Handle faucet. This product is terrific all the way around. Installation was fairly straightforward with easy to connect flexible water hoses to the cold and hot lines. The drain pipe was a little tougher to get just right, as I had to remove the lower metal pipe and apply pipe dope to the threads to eliminate the slow drip that was initially present. Not a big deal, but I figured that the brand new drain would already have a tight seal with the fittings it was initially linked with. But all together, the faucet install took under a half-hour to get it right.I really like the functionality and looks of a single handle faucet. First, it’s a very clean look without having multiple holes in the top of the sink to worry about leaking or having to clean- these locations always seem to collect debris.Secondly, it's easy to get the temperature just right with just a single lift of the lever- which is ideal for conserving water because the easier it is to get the water on/off, the more likely someone is to turn off the water when it's just going down the drain.The height of the faucet and angle of the water jet is perfect- it just goes forward a bit toward the user, but doesn’t splash against the front of the sink. I’m really glad to have chosen this Grohe faucet for the bathroom and look forward to using it for years. Excellent product from a brand that we prefer!
