Triple Layer Latex Core Expandable Garden Hose with Brass Connectors, 75-Feet

I've purchased several cheap, low-quality expanding hoses and got what I paid for; hoses that immediately start kinking and spring leaks in a matter of wees. But these hoses are amazing - solid brass fittings and the hose expands and contracts amazingly without kinking. The quality is evident and I'm guessing that I won't be making use of the 2-year warranty I bought.

I loved the idea of the light weight design..It worked for awhile then this year when i turned it on it was split at rhe seams..This is my second hose of this kindIts suppose to be durable . It's not.Very unsatisfied.

My hose burst after about 8 months. I was using it and it made a loud popping sound. The hose seems to be some kind of rubber inner hose, covered by a nylon "sleeve. The inner rubber hose burst and the hose stopped working. Prior to bursting, the hose was great. It's much easier to handle and put away than a standard hose. Disappointed by its short lifespan.

While the hose itself did not have the longevity I was hoping for, the company's customer service is excellent. I bought this hose quite a while ago, but used it very sparingly for the first few months. It wasn't until recently that I used it fairly regularly for about two weeks, after which point it sprung a leak. The company had sent out an email to me after I had first bought it saying that they would do whatever it took to make sure I was satisfied with their product, even if it was after the 5 month warranty had expired. Well, it was way past the warranty expiration date (like months after) and they still replaced my damaged hose, and they did it in a day!

I typically do not write reviews but i ALWAYS rely on them for purchases. Needless to say this was my 3rd or 4th version of expanding hoses i have bought from amazon so i have plenty of experience with proper handling of these hoses as they can be prone to failure. Some fail because of misuse, others because of poor quality or workmanship.I must say i had this product in use for about 3 weeks and it was fantastic! Until it failed... I believe i had a defective hose as it broke midway (the core popped somehow). I contacted the seller about replacing the hose and they responded almost immediately!! All they required was a picture of the hose and after i sent it, i almost instantly received an email back with a 99% off discount code so i could purchase the new one right through amazon. That is incredibly convenient as I have Amazon Prime so it was free 2 day shipping. I have already received the replacement hose and all is in working order.Product seems to be of good quality and i believe i just had a fluke/defective hose. Definitely would recommend! Excellent customer service!UPDATE 2020: I no longer have any of these expandable hoses. They all seem to fail eventually, whether a design flaw or user error, they are a little too fragile for the environment that they are intended to be used in. All well

i bought this in November, 2016, after 2 other different brands, similar. Though I hadn't used it much (because it was winter), I loved it. Until it busted and the "balloon" inside came out. I was super, super, super careful with it, so I'm very disappointed. I have ordered another in hopes that maybe this one was just defective. If it hadn't split, I would have given it 5 stars because everything else about it....length, weight, etc. is amazing.UPDATE****Oh my gosh! After posting this review last night (and ordering a new hose) I received an email from Golden Spearhead, apologizing for my disappointment and refunding my money. Who does that !! Of course, I am beyond pleased at their response. I just had to change my rating in part because of the customer service. I'd already stated how much I love this hose and now I am enamored with the company.

Best hose I have ever used! I had come to refusing to use our old fashioned hose that had to be wound back up when you are done. This hose takes all of that away- it so easily expands and contracts and is also very light making it extremely easy to use. Mine did get a small leak in it and just as the other reviews state, this company stands behind their product and delivers exceptional customer service. Since I just wanted a replacement, I was given a coupon code to get a new one for free and am even not required to send the original back! I let them know that this is the first review I have ever taken the time to do and with such great customer service, am HAPPY to do so!
