Fashionclubs Silicone Seashell Sea Life Chocolate/Fondant/Candy Baking Mold For Cake Decor

This mold was absolutely perfect for what I needed. I assumed that it would be easy to use with fondant icing, but it was not. It took me a little bit to get the hang of it, but I finally figured out a way to remove the fondant without tearing it up and it turned out great!

I am very new to baking cakes. Wave was difficult but served my purpose, and I didn’t try the coral... but others were super easy. Still work in progress but... Overall happy with the way my cake is looking now.. my 7 year old was super excited about it

I rated this 5 stars for ease of use after I had to research how to get fondant into the mold. It kept sticking to my fingers. Here’s a tip- use a small amount of cornstarch on your fingertips and just press the fondant into the mold piece by piece. I used the waves for my project and after getting the fondant in the mold I put it in the freezer for just about 2-4 minutes to set it. It then was easy to remove, even the intricate pieces. I used a knife to shave off excess fondant before removing. Came out perfect

I bought this mould mainly for the corals but I just get it to come out smoothly. I used marshmellow fondant and tried dusting it with cornflour prior to putting the fondant and freezing or cooling in refrigerator but nothing worked. Other sea shell patterns were ok though. I had trouble with the sand dollar and the bottom 2 lines with decoration and the pretty coral. I will try again with a different fondant but just a headsup if anyone is planning to follow my route.

I bought this mold specifically for the coral.I first tried candy melts & it broke into pieces when I tried to remove it.So then I used fondant which worked out pretty well. I just had to carve out the extra pieces.

Really cute for decorating sea themed cakes- very easy to use and clean. Best used with candy melts , but worked with baking chocolate as well. Tried fondant but took a long time.

I used this to mold white chocolate decorations for a cake. The waves at the bottom wouldn't come out quite right. The coral also didn't want to stay together coming out of the mold. The other shapes were perfect.

Purchased this mould for a mermaid cake and I was looking for that coral pattern. The reviews mentioned that it was almost impossible to remove. So the first thing I did after receiving it was to test it. It works!!! You need patience and practice. I'm a beginner in cake decorations and I watched a couple of YouTube videos first. Success!!! Very happy with my purchase!!
