This is a very relatable funny picture book for young children. Both of my children hate it when I say they are too small or too big to do something and that is what is upsetting Little Bear in this story!First of all Little Bear is 'too big' for the bottle of milk his mum has prepared for his baby sister. He's also told he's 'too big' to take his cuddly toy out with him or ride in the buggy.But then Little Bear is told he is 'too small' to cut his food with a knife and 'too small' to drive daddy bear's car. Poor Little Bear is very confused!! He decides to turn the tables on his parents and show them what it's like to be 'too big or too small!'My son adored this picture book. The bears in the story are so loveable and we loved sharing all the funny situations especially when Little Bear tells Mummy Bear off for licking the icing as she is 'too big' to be doing that.The illustrations are gorgeous and really convey all the 'big' emotions felt in the story!This is a great story that can help children express some of their own frustrations! We've really enjoyed sharing it at bedtime.
