So, I'm going to cheat, and do a little copy & paste for this review.I bought 2 of these a few months ago, and finally got around to mounting them. They are very powerful and hold big knives easily. I find them to be stylish as well, especially since they are mounted on my backsplash that is made up of grey and silver colored tiles. I like them enough that I ordered 2 shorter bars so I could hang up most of the rest of my knives (I have more knives than I really need). Small and medium size knives will stick really well. Heavier knives with wider blades (chef's knives and cleavers) will also stick easily. I'm thinking that surface area comes into play here, because neither one of my steels will stick to it. The only knives that were a little wonky are my longer thinner carving knives. If mounted with the handle close to the bar, the longer ones tend to settle at a bit of an angle, due to being top heavy. If stuck on in the middle of the blade, they hang straight. There's only one negative thing I can say about these, and it's not really that big of a deal. There's a sticker on each one warning you about the risk of pinching because of the power of the magnet. Definitely pay attention to that warning, but that's not the complaint. The complaint is that the sticker is put on with some really annoying adhesive that requires several applications of Goo-Gone, or lighter fluid to remove. As I said, no big deal. Definitely buy these if you want a modern looking, stylish knife bar.

This magnetic knife holder is heavy-duty and looks great. It is easily installed with two included screws (adhesive strips would probably not work). It has plenty of magnetic strength to hold large knives.

I believe this was the only knife holder that would fit into a small space I have in my kitchen. Regardless, it's working great. It was easy to install and is really sturdy. The magnet holds the knives firmly, but they are easy to pull off.So much better than storing them in drawers.

Love this brushed nickel look and easy mounting of the magnets. We bought two 10 inch magnets and mounted then above the kitchen sink on the inside of the overhead cabinets. It frees up needed storage space in drawers that previously had to hold our knives and scissors. Note to buyer: read the warnings on the directions about there being a "pinch" hazzard. This magnet is very strong and you must be careful not to pinch the skin on your fingers when installing!

Great product, well constructed, looks to be very good quality. Purchased because of the name Gorilla brand. Had searched on Amazon site for adhesive, magnetic knife holders, and it showed in the search so believe it had an adhesive strip for wall mounting. Also, it was from gorilla grip who are known for those types of products. Very disappointed to find out that it did not come with a strip to return the unit then found a way to use a double edge, backing tape to safely attach the wall without drilling

Very easy to install. VERY strong magnet. Holds my 3 big knives very well with no fear of dropping them. 10/10

Works great. I don’t even screw into the wall, I simply stuck the Manet on the side of my stove top vent hood. It works great!!!

Professional grade with very strong magnet. The 16” version holds all knifes and I can utilize the extra counter space from where that big wooden knife block once was. Install was quick and easy even for a 66 year old woman. I highly recommend this product.

I bought this to replace an Ikea magnetic knife strip that didn’t have enough magnets in it and would make smaller knives stick at weird angles. Not a problem with this Gorilla strip - it looks like it’s one solid magnet and it’s strong as hell.I didn’t want to drill into my tiles so I attached it to the wall using double-sided Gorilla Tape. It sits beautifully flush.

Lo coloqué ya hace tiempo en mi refrigerador y a pesar del peso no se ha desplazado ni un centímetro (literalmente, lo medí cuando lo coloqué). Además aguanta bastante bien toda una batería de cuchillos y algunos de sus accesorios (tijeras, afilador, etc.) Si no se quiere colocar en el refrigerador trae una placa que s epuede colocar fácilmente en la pared o una estructura de madera. La recomiendo mucho para poder tener un mejor orden en su cocina.
