This is my second time ordering, because the product is really great taste wise and it’s super crunchy, yet not too terribly hard when you first bite it. The taste is earthy and the product is creamy once you chew it for a few seconds. It is not sandy / gritty at all which I like a lot. I do not swallow though…I chew until it turns super creamy and the crunch is all gone, and then I spit it out. The only negative thing about this is price. Too expensive and not enough product for that monetary value, in my opinion.

Love the crunch and flavor, hate the price for the amaunt, it's gotten so expensive, I bought 2 boxs over $120 is a bit much

You know, sometimes you just crave a good, crunchy piece of chalk. I think those who have gone through pregnancy might especially understand this. If you've ever bought regular chalk, you know it’s nearly impossible to get any satisfaction from it—it's usually too hard. So, I decided to look on Amazon, and voila! There’s actually a special edible chalk available. They select the crunchiest pieces, clean them, cut them into bite-sized sticks, and package them in a nice box. It’s definitely not the same as the chalk used for drawing. I've bought this a couple of times, and I've never been disappointed with the quality—all the sticks are intact, the texture is soft enough but still crunchy. If needed, it can be easily ground into powder. I’ll say upfront that doctors don't recommend eating chalk, but when you think about it, it's just calcium bicarbonate, right? Anyway, you can consult with your doctor about how safe it is; I'm not in a position to give medical advice. Now, the downside: the price. Yes, it’s a kilogram of chalk, and yes, it's top quality, but oh my gosh, $60! They have cheaper options on their site, but the price per ounce is even higher. Still, it’s worth trying. My conclusion: good edible chalk, but it's pretty pricey.

I have 30 years with pica, I been tried differen and, this one it TOME ME is not a high price just feel that they stolen my money, I haven't returned because my son took the pretty box, to who has pica go Google find white dirt extremely cheap and so good.

The chalk is very good when you chew it not feeling of the sand is very soft and very crunchy. I am returning it because when they delivered it they poured some liquid into the bag. When I opened it, there was also this liquid and some other smell in the box, so I will return it and buy it back. He's very good.

My favorite chalks, EVER! Reminds me of the regular, old school chalk from back in the day lol! It tastes like "nothing", but that's my favorite part. No weird aftertaste, or random additives. Just straight up chalk, yumm ^_^ I definitely prefer these to the chunks of the same brand. The chunks are must softer. The sticks have an amazing, flaky crunch. Not too hard, not too soft. I will absolutely eat these right out of the box as is, but leaving the bag open for about a day so they can "dry out" makes a big difference. SUPER CRUNCH! I will never go back to crayola or whatever else. This stuff is TOP SHELF!

Purchased this chalk and it was finished in 3 weeks , I just keep going back for more, but unfortunately its out of stock so I have to wait, should have ordered 4 boxes and top up everytime I finished one 😢 UPDATE: Purchased another box, and the quality is NOT the same. All the sticks were broken which wasn't a problem, but the sticks were soft, not crunchy at all, I prefer hard gritty sticks of chalk and this isn't it . Not sure what to do to get it the way I want it, which is HARD!

I would buy it again but price is going up and even though its good i good not buy for that price. Lets be honest its to expensive!
