USB C Dual HDMI Adapter

Had to buy a few of these too find one that actually works so this is brilliant

This is the best product I have purchased in a long time! Simple connectivity to laptops to run two external displays, keyboard, mouse and external HDD. Plus added USB C support to charge compatible laptop. Only down point a longer USB C cable to connect to the laptop would have been better but simply remedied buying an extension cable. It has the odd moment when the cable is slightly knocked and the screen go out but that can be expected. I have used this for almost a year adding more accessories and haven’t been disappointed so far. Great product.

Considering I asked the question and was told it only works with MAC and Windows, did some research and found the they stated these sort of docks should work with Linux. Currently running the Kubuntu Distro of Linux and this dock works with that. I purchased a separate Power deliver adaptor, which again this is not made clear if it does or does not come with one. It probably is somewhere in the description but it's not clear enough. This allows to extend the screens over 2 monitors plus the laptop on Linux OS. Quality will be assessed over time however, if you have Linux and are unsure then it should work, but it may depend on each different Distro. If it works on Kubuntu, the likely hood is it should work with Ubuntu and Linux Mint.

Great value for money if you are not looking for too many ports!

Absolutely brilliant piece of kit. Much better than my Kingston SD3600 which used to stutter, flicker and disrupt my screen images. I have 22 inch monitors connected to my Dell Latitude. Works perfectly.

I bought this adaptor for my new Dell computer as it is advertised as Dell XPS compatible. An adaptor is needed with the computer since it only has 2 usb-c ports. I've had issues with the functionality of the computer - the sound of my Jabra speaker drops mid meeting, the sound quality is bad and delayed in video calls, the screen of my external monitor goes black periodically, the charger icon has a warning of slow charging, the mouse drops connection to the usb receiver. I have been speaking to Dell about the issues however when I changed adaptor all issues were resolved. I have now tried to claim a refund for this faulty item and discovered that the warranty period is only 1 month and I am 5 days outside of that tiny warranty period.

Had this for over 6 months now and so I think I can give a fair review. This product needs to be better. It blocks the audio jack port or the MagSafe power point so it means I have to always carry my audio interface with me or choose to have limited power. More annoyingly the adapter is sensitive so it is easy to accidentally disconnect but brushing a wire or so. This can be very frustrating when video editing or during music production. Just needs improvements.
