Excellent, strong elastic cord! Great for kandi or any other crafts!
This is amazing! It is super durable and strong. Does not break no matter how hard I pull it. I purchased this for making kandi and it is fantastic. It is easy to tie and does not fray. I took others advice and held a lighter to it after knotting to make the perfect knot that will not detangle or fray. Also, other brands cost much more and give you much less. This thing will last me forever. But if I do run out I know I will be buying this again. I recommend it for anyone who wants to make kandi bracelets or for whatever other projects that require strong elastic. I wanted to get clear elastic but black was the only option for this price and quantity so I went for it. I am actually happy that i got black cuz it looks great with my colourful pony beads and especially in the dark with glow-in-the-dark beads.

Wicked elastic cord
This stuff came in a good amount of time, and arrived spun around a plastic double plated spindle. I cut notches in the side of it so I could friction hang the cord when I store it so it does not come untangled. You get enough to last a lifetime, it is strong and upon pulling it I'm confident it won't break under normal use, it's applications are endless, I've used it to make a bead bracelet to count paces in darkness, hooked it through loops on a siper scope after drilling holes in the lens cap protectors to keep them from getting lost, I've made a safety catch for a neck knife, and tons of other applications, it can be stretched a good ways before tension is felt, and when cut fraying is minimal, I see no white colorings inside when cut so I'm assuming it's all one solid cord of colored elastic combined with some sort of fabric, it burns easy and to be sure no frays start I burn the ends, it take's a flame quick and after hardening a black residue is left, the black stuff must be wiped off it as it leaves a little bit of residue on what it touches after being burnt. Me being a Marine I use it for tasks beyond arts and crafts, like securing gear in edc pouches, securing knives to sheaths and all sorts of things, it's not as strong as pairacord obviously, but it's stretchy, thin and dependable for light applications that won't see heavy duty like organizing gear inside of bags for easy deployment, and creating in bag extendable lanyards for light gear for example. Any but the smallest beads should fit this; also, photon lights, kydex sheath holes, shoelace holes, you name it work with this well. In summery, it's stretchy, solid, fits most holes, de-frays with fire, and won't break on you within reason. Suitable for light duty tasks securing gear, and bushcraft of light nature. Pretty handy to keep some stowed in a pouch, and cheap enough to re-rig right in the field in the event of gear failure. 5/5 easy This stuff has a place in my pack now, and I will be back in the event I eliminate my current supply through use.

Love the cord but...
Love the cord but, as another customer mentioned, its diameter is closer to 1.8mm. This was too large for my design so specs are important, Beadalon!!

Good quality but thicker than I anticipated
This is nice quality elastic for beading but it is very thick for 1 mm. There is a lot on the spool so I think it is going to last me a long time. A lot of my beads, etc. will not let this through so I am resorting to using pony beads for this elastic.

Excellent Value
I've had this stuff for over a year and used it for countless projects and literally haven't even noticed that I have used any material. This stuff will literally last me forever and is excellent quality. Unbeatable value.

Durable, stretchy, and long-lasting!
I haven't had these strings for a while but I've already used up a lot of it and they're more stretchy and durable than any other string I've used! I've made bracelets out of them and they still have not yet snapped compared to the Stretch Magic string I used. They're also very easy to tie. This string is especially great for kandi and necklaces! And if the elastic band snaps, you still have the cloth to keep it together.

Stretchy, good quality
Great quality string. I was looking for a large roll of string, as I make a lot of craft bracelts. This works perfectly for the job. Very stretchy, good quality material. As others have also mentioned, the string does seem to be larger than 1mm, I would say closer to about 1.5mm

Works GREAT with Kandi / pony beads
Super good for Kandi!! (super stretchy but gets the job done still, all while staying strong) **not good for very narrow 'fancy' beads though :-( ** (I,e. all pony beads work perfectly! But if you find fancy small jewels or trinkets or very flashy beads from Michael's they may not fit through this string)

Good product for the price
As good a fabric elastic as a fabric elastic can be. I've used this to hang stuff on my car's mirror and also to make kids necklaces and wristbands and it's proven robust enough as it keeps its elasticity for a while before it stretches out.
