Alpaca made its debut in Golf circles in the 1950's. Embraced by golfing professionals for lightness and ease of motion, alpaca continues to be the quintessential material for the discerning golf player. Professionals have special requirements for their golf sweaters; they want more fabric for a less restrictive fit, with ultimate breathability. In the day they were sometimes referred to as the floppy cardigan or just "alpacas". We worked with those that wore and loved this style and created the perfect golf pullover based on their requirements: Raglan Sleeves, reinforced elastic for excellent fit, belle sleeves and a v neckline. Since 2004 we have been crafting this one of a kind pullover and it continues to be as much loved now as it was back in the 50's.
