Does this work on aluminum fuel tankers

How long can this product be used?

I applied the product and let it sit for about 20 minutes before washing it off.

Can I use it to restore alum wheels on my 10 yrs old car?

I would try an inconspicuous area, such as the back of the rim. See if it cleans as you would like. Keep in mind the backside is always the dirtiest so if it cleans up pretty well with no effects to the Aluminum. You would only need to polish them after they are cleaned.
