This works very well to hold sheet music and still be able to mark it up with notes as needed. You can fit pages back to back with this one, so you can get a good bit of sheet music in it. It fits a standard music stand, but it can get heavy, so a flimsy stand might topple.

Both sides of each page can take a paper. There is a small sleeve on the top and bottom of the page to hold the paper in. You can write on your music while it is in. Just be careful sliding the music, the sleeve is thin but has held up fine for me. For 3 page music, I fold it on the previous page, tape it, and just don't tape by the sleeve. It works fine. Buying my second one for a different setlist.

It is comfortable, and ease of use

This folder holds a lot of music, and the clever sleeves for the music pages are surprisingly effective. They hold the music in place but allow the user to write directly on the music because only the top and bottom of each page is held in place. Of course to write on the reverse side of a page one must remove the page from its sleeve, but this is accomplished easily and quickly: Just tuck the top and bottom of the page into the corresponding part of the page protectors.It would be helpful to have pockets inside the front and back covers, also a place to store one’s ubiquitous pencil. Last but not least, it would be fantastic if the cover were not quite as smooth. It is constantly sliding away from me when placed in my lap during rehearsals.

The Meccaline sheet music folder with its 40 double clear sheets is a spiral binder and an organizer for my husband's sheet music and looks great on his music stand. It conveniently fits 8".5"x11" letter size sheets. His only disappointment was that the name tag was not there, even though the information stated that there would be one included.

Great quality for the price. My music notebooks get a fair amount of use and abuse, and I haven't had a single rip or tear after several years of use. Sometimes I even stuff 4 sheets in one page if it's music I need to take out regularly. I love the open page holders for making notes on music. Lots of storage pages. Spiral binding is very durable, and the overall notebook is lightweight.

I highly recommend this product for HS and MS music directors! I have taught band and orchestra for over 8 years and this is my new favorite teacher tool. I put copies of all my scores for each enseble into the sleeves and each score in one place that doesn't fall out of an oversized directors folder and I can still write notes and cues on the page with ease. The pages are easy to turn and I have used it at concerts and really like it. The slips at the top and bottom are a little fragile so be careful not to accidentally rip them on the sides (I ripped two and just needed to take my time and be careful). I even had a HS student ask about the new book and she has ordered one for herself as well. Great resource for the (un)organized music director.

My family plays multiple instruments and this is perfect for holding our loose sheet music in an organized manner. Our books/music fall off the piano and stands all of the time and this helps keep them together. Very light and worth buying.
