Arrived alive (delivered to Texas in winter). About 4 inches long. Seems healthy. Habitat is small but probably fine for short term. I upgraded to a cubical tank with more substrate and hiding spots so it could also fully stretch out and move around at night.. My 6yo daughter will love it I think. We wanted a pet that she could handle occasionally but that doesnt require live food. (she really wanted a snake). They are supposed to live a long time if you take good care of them. I am a bit worried about maintaining humidity levels while avoiding mold but we'll see how it goes. I will try to update in a month or so..

What I expected except thought it would be bigger - shipping was great and fast - good buy for my son

I bought a giant millipede for my preschool classroom. The delivery was fast, but the Insect was dead upon arrival. The company has not responded to e-mails or phone calls in regards to a replacement or a refund. Would not recommend.

I had my millipede for about a month and it died, my students were so sad the day we came in and found it. The millipede stopped eating which might have been a fluke thing. I plan on buying another to see if we have the same result.
