Overall Nice for the Price
Overall a good desk lamp for the price. The metal frame arms and plastic joints are sturdy. The base is solid and heavy enough to keep the lamp from tipping over so long as the lamp head is not extended more than ~15 inches horizontally from the pivot on the base. After that, the moment produced by the weight of the lamp will tend to tip the base. The lamp simply attaches to the base via a plastic insert on the lamp arm into the base, but is only secured by pressure applied by a single metal thumb screw. This causes two issues: 1) tighten the thumb screw too much and you can damage the plastic insert 2) fully securing the lamp into the base with thumb screw will prevent you from rotating the lamp arm. You can get away with out tightening the thumb screw and the weight of the lamp will keep it on the base. A better design at this attachment point (should the makers read this) would be to have a snap fit ring in the base. This would allow the lamp to swivel while still being secured to the base. The springs are sufficiently stiff and keep the lamp arms stationary. However, the middle joint only requires one of the two springs included. Having both attached causes the second arm to retract back and does not keep a set stationary position. The lamp head is made of a glossy black plastic, which paired with the matte black finish on the metal light hood looks a bit odd (the red and blue options might look better). The lamp requires a light bulb with an E26 base, so the typical A19 body bulbs that everyone in the US is familiar with should work. However, the hood is kind of shallow and the A19 bulb will extend slightly past the hood. This might give you some unwanted glare off the bulb, so I would suggest using a shorter bulb.Overall the lamp looks good and price point makes it attractive.

Very Nice Lamp, But Smaller Than Expected
The product itself is very nice HOWEVER the picture is a bit deceptive. The lamp is actually much smaller than comparative swing arm lamps. It actually seems like a 1/2 scale model of a normal lamp. As a consequence of its small size, the shade of the lamp is not big enough to cover a normal 40 watt compact fluorescent or LED bulb. It is annoying to have the bulb protrude past the shade a bit. The lamp itself, other than its size, is very nice quality.

Simple lamp, make sure pieces are assembled correctly
Just received the lamp today - it came in nice sturdy packaging and was pretty simple to put together. The only issue we had was the bottom section on the lamp had a part screwed on completely backwards. We just unscrewed it and flipped the part and it’s perfectly normal now. Great buy for the price! Nice heavy base so it doesn’t tip over.

Great Product
Very easy to put together. The base is about 5lbs.You can twist and turn it in any direction and it will not tip over. And that is with a heavy LED light bulb inserted. Even fully erected in the vertical direction it will not tip over. I even slapped it a few times and it wont tip over. The blue color looks amazing. I am very satisfied with this product and would buy it again in a heart beat.

It is a bit fiddly to setup
It is a bit fiddly to setup, the adjustment knob on the base is somewhat awkward to get a good grip on and the one at the mid point just will not tighten enough to hold any other angle but straight out. Taking one of the springs out from the mid point allows it to remain bent at a usable angle, thus solving this issue.I like the size of it and the option to clamp it to a work surface. Time will tell if the quality of plastic is durable, my biggest concern is that it may become brittle over time.My conclusion: I do not hate it, but it is unlikely that I will be purchasing a second. I do not consider it inexpensive enough to recommend it's purchase.I have a couple of 25 year old swing arm desk lamps that are much more sturdy, all metal construction and still work as well as the day I purchased them, without having to remove any springs.

Very Nice
Hoped to be able to jump to a 60w bulb but due to its top being plastic and not metal a 40w is definitely the max unless maybe if you use an LED bulb or something that burns cooler. Love the switch on top. The twist ones tend to stop working after time. This is a rocker type switch and I see it lasting much longer. It's about 2/3 the size of the 'normal' architect type lamps but great for a smaller desk or closer application.

A little unstable but still worth it
It’s relatively easy to assemble and use. I like the color, and it’s just what I need. The only problem I’ve had, however, is that one of the screws has fallen out of the top. This is a screw that I did not have to put in myself, and it’s so small I don’t have a screwdriver small enough to fix it. It’s not a huge deal, but now the lamp shade is wobbly. However, I think this is a nice item, and is still worth the money.

Perfect little table lamp
Nice, black table lamp. Just a little assembly required, took 45 seconds. You do have to attach 2 springs, but not that hard. If you have bad arthritis I could see it being difficult though. Heavy weighted base which is good. Simple on off switch. Head tilts and swivels so you can get light just where you need it. Recommend a good quality LED light bulb and your good to go.
