Does what it advertises
In general, I like the massager and I like that it’s able to be used in multiple positions. I’ve successfully used it while sitting in a chair and also while laying down. I also like that is has heat available, and 4 different types of massage, plus a option for vibration. My one dislike is that I would prefer to have a longer power cord because that limits where I can use the product.

Calming but not for severe pain
I had a massage seat pad, a different brand, for more than 10 years before it finally said enough. I ordered this one because it had the heat and I didn't need the shiatzu type stuff. At first I was disappointed when I opened the package. It was so light weight compared to my other. The top flopped down on the couch. I was prepared for the worst but... the massage is mesmerizing. Not too rough, gentle & soothing. My only complaint would be that the "heat" is confined to a small lumbar area and barely gets warm.
