Lake Tahoe & Tahoe Rim Trails (Tom Harrison Maps)

This is a great map for those who still like to reference a paper map in addition to whatever gps device they may be using. While it is not quite so robust as the Adventure Maps version, it is smaller, lighter and with entire loop printed on on side with all the necessary detail.

Love the detail, love the paper, but mostly love that it is one full map, not split into sections or pages or front and back. Yes, that maybe means not as much detail as some of the others, but means I can hang it on my wall when I'm done with it!

Take this hike! So beautiful! We made it about 35 miles from near South Lake Tahoe to around Truckee in mid-July. Lots of accessible water, fabulous scenery, absolutely want to do the rest of the Tahoe Rim Trail.

I have used Tom Harrison maps on some of my hikes and found them reliable and well detailed. I can make this claim since I have used other brands of maps, equally good and detailed, but never match Tom Harrison's.Thank you and saludos, Rolando

Good accurate map of the rim trail, for more detail get a map of a smaller area

I was looking for a map specifically for off-road trails in this area. So far this map has proven to be very accurate. Other maps only have a few here and there, so it would take 2 or even 3 maps to figure out where trails went.The only problem I have with this map is it's a small area. Tom Harrison does not make any maps that border this area, so I will have to use my other maps still.

As with the Tahoe Basin National Geographic map this map is a topographic map that makes it easier to decide which trails to hike on. They will both get lots of use in the next few years.

My daughter is always planning and dreaming of her next adventure. This map has all of the detail she needs to plan her whole hike. It is made of good paper so it will survive the trip and the months of planning.

Helped us keep track of son who was walking the trail but detail and type to small. Always needed my glasses to read even a brief glance! Ok but not if walking the trail itself.
