Great Product
Initial impression is that I am really happy with this product. As you might expect, it's a bargain compared to a professional installation. Admittedly, the custom jobs are going to be nicer but in my case it wasn't worth paying 6x the price for something I wanted to try anyway. The color and texture has been very consistent over several purchases so there have been no issues matching sections. Ignore the water spots in the first two pictures. The foam cuts easily either with a utility knife or a pair of scissors. Application is easy and the adhesive is very sticky. Once applied is is very comfortable to walk on and makes a big difference in the comfort of your deck, particularly if you are barefoot. Some suggestions for applying: Let the sheet age and relax for a few days prior to using preferably in the sun where it can get hot. The foam will shrink a very small amount so you want that shrink out before you cut and apply. Also, a roller is a must. It was obvious that even after pressing and walking on it, rolling the foam still found areas that did not have good adhesion. Last thing to mention is more of a personal preference. I would suggest making templates and cutting sections as opposed to trying to cut this in place. It's a little more work but you will be happier with the final result. You can find examples on-line.

Just finished installing in my van
I just literally finished installing this in my van … adhesive allows for minor adjustments if you’re quick enough. I didn’t use any other adhesive— I figure I can always add adhesive if it comes up in spots … not sure how well this will hold up to my pets (my cat easily clawed holes into it while it was on the living room floor getting unfurled. Easy to cut and trim with utility knife or scissors. Looks a lot richer than the cost!

Easy Install, Great Look
Overall great product. I absolutely love the appearance of it on my boat. The installation was easy, but make sure you double check measurements and be careful while cutting pieces. Take your time to make it look at its best. The adhesive is actually stronger than I thought it would be, which is good given the nature of being outside on a boat, enduring all the elements.

Looks great if you take your time with the install!
I used poster board and tape to make a stencil of the boat floor. Then used that to cut it out from the foam. Not 100% perfect. But 95%. No one will notice the imperfections but me. Still need to use an xacto knife to clean up some edges. It sticks well. You can’t un-stick it to fix an error. So be careful! Will report back as it ages over this summer.

Slimy mess after just a few weeks!!
Sticks great until it gets wet and then it becomes a slimy mess that doesn't stick to anything. I had high hopes when I first installed it. Easy to cut and it has a nice feel with good looks. Unfortunately, after a few weeks and a couple of washings the sticky backing is just a slimy mess that doesn't stick to anything. What a waste of money and a great deal of time and effort. I wish that there was no adhesive to begin with so I could have used something that actually works. Now I am left with a huge mess to clean up while I remove this crap. I wish I had never started this project. In addition, I just noticed while taking pictures that the material is also oozing brown dye all over my boat. It just keeps getting worse!!Save yourself a lot of grief and disappointment and avoid this product!!!

This product requires some finess to make look good.
I will update this after I install the product into my boat... I have just spent hours cutting this stuff and matching it to templates taken off the boat. I will be doing only my interior and be using 3m spray to help adhesion. What I can say is that this product requires quite a lot of work to make it nice. The foam is easy to cut, not so easy to glue, and since they roll it up to ship it it is very curved. I had to use a lot of weight to hold it down and even tape it down to the surface I was working on or it would curl up onto me. I used superglue to bond the pieces I cut together. The super glue does work, but it is not super easy. I found myself needing to glue small sections at a time. Unfortunately, there were some areas that I didn't cut it precisely enough and there are small gaps that look unsightly. I plan to try sanding some leftover material into a powder and using it and CA to fill the gaps... that or a caulking that is close in color.I had a quote for all the pieces I made from Sea Deck for 1000.00 for a do it yourself install, that is they would make the pieces off the templates and send them to me to install myself. I spent about 250.00 on this stuff instead. Given how it has come out (not perfect or super professional looking) I am really wishing I had just sent the templates to Sea Deck and paid the extra money. This is a good low cost option, but it is not sea deck... If you want it to look nice, be prepared to spend a lot of time and frustration with making it look nice. I will put it in for now and plan to in the future have sea deck do their thing.
