Indoor Outdoor Thermometer Hygrometer Wireless Weather Station, Temperature Humidity Monitor Battery Powered Inside Outside Thermometers with 330ft Range Remote Sensor and Backlight Display

I was very nicely surprised by how well and simple this was to set up and operate. It has little features not described that are handy. The accuracy that I've checked with an IR thermometer is very accurate as advertised. I am highly educated and studied weather, and I still don't know how this think is actually forecasting the 12 hour weather quite well. I believe it is exceeding it's published 70% accuracy. I don't know if it's measuring things (like atmospheric pressure) it does not display; but it does a great job. Make sure you find a sun-neutral place for it and it's best to mount it somewhere where direct rain won't hit it. The display is clear and the light comes on with a simple touch. Overall, really one of my better purchases.

I was using a more expansive ThermPro unit before buying this for the 2nd story bedroom. I found this unit is better than the ThermPro in the INDOOR humidity reading while the Outdoor humidity and both indoor and outdoor temperature readings are consistent between them.First I compare both indoor and outdoor temperature and humidity readings with both the Head unit and Outdoor sensor sitting side by side inside the house. The temperature readings are within 0.5F while the humidity are within 10% - eg Outdoor is 44% while indoor is 40%. This is significantly better than the ThermPro unit where the difference between indoor and outdoor readings could be as high as 100% e.g. Outdoor is 35% while indoor is 17%.The next test is to place both outdoor units outside the house and under the eve, both units gave the similar temperature and humidity readings and these readings are very close to what the online Microsoft Weather page showed.Accuracy aside, I found the display is very easy to read, big fonts and good contrast. It also has a backlit button for night reading if necessary.The only minor issue is with the Weather prediction feature which is not very accurate. I live in southern California where rain is a luxury to have and this unit had predicted rain for the entire week since I had it and not once rain or even drizzle ever came. This to me is not a show stopper as I only care about the temperature reading more than anything else.

Just wanted an outdoor temperature reading to determine how to bundle up an elderly relative that I am caretaker for. This device fits the bill nicely. It was easy to set up and install. The hardest part was figuring out where to put the outside monitor. The base module linked quickly with the monitor (about 75' away) and has had a strong connection since. The data seems to be accurate though the humidity slightly differs than another device I have (don't know which is more correct).I ordered two of these units and have 2 base stations connected to a single outdoor monitor. Works like a charm. I haven't used these long enough to comment on battery life though.I only have 2 small gripes. First, I wish it had the option of displaying outdoor humidity in addition to dewpoint. Second, I wish the build-in stand would let the unit lean back a bit more. As it is, the display sits almost directly vertical on my desk. A magnet on the back would also be nice to stick it to the fridge.All-in-all, I am quite happy with this purchase.

Highly Recommend. Nice large display, very responsive back light button (ie. button responds to lightest touch), includes alternative modes to suite users likes, and capability to choose Fahrenheit or Celsius scale. Very easy to set up and included very complete instruction and owners manual. Well packaged in bubble wrap and display cover. Very nice product at a very fair and value balanced price point.

Great item, I always like to know room temperature and outside. Item can be used with rechargeable battery. Some device voltage would be too low and LCD would be dim. This device can be used with rechargeable and the black text is sharp. I think I'm around 4-5 months using rechargeable. Sensor using rechargeable

It appears to be well made and sturdy. The sensor is much sturdier than others I've used in the past. I hung mine on a nail and it hangs flat against the wall nicely. The casing at the point of contact with the nail is 5/8" deep so I have no concerns about it breaking there. My first location of the sensor eventually became drenched in late afternoon/early evening sunshine and the temperature sensed was most definitely affected by this, but that's not a bad thing really as it showed me that the sensor is sensitive enough to register the sunshines effect. I did relocate the sensor though as I want an accurate air temperature reading without the suns effect. The accuracy seems to be good. Compared to other thermometers I have around the house it consistently measure +/- 2°. I've also compared it's reading to the NWS published temperatures for my location and again it stays within the +/-2° sometimes 3° range. Very acceptable to me. The display unit is also sturdy and well made. It displays both indoor and outdoor temps and keeps the min and max for the day. I set mine to display heat index but dew point and a mold indicator are also available. The backlight button is easily accessible and is at the point of contact from where the unit hangs so I'm not constantly knocking the thing off the wall. Excellent design there I would say. The display unit is heavy enough that it hangs well and probably wouldn't be easy to brush off the screw or nail it hangs from if you had it in a location that that could happen. It also has a pull out stand on the back for setting it on a table or any flat surface, which also seems to work well. I had no problems with the instructions and had the batteries inserted and the settings set within just a few minutes. Quite easy actually. I like this thermometer and am very pleased with it. I can't speak to power usage and battery drain at this point as I've only had it for a short time, but I might add that information after I've used it for a bit. Overall I'm very happy with my purchase.
