My cat has medium length hair, sheds constantly, and doesn't like having his fur brushed. I got this yesterday and he loves it! I tried it while he was walking around a got a TON of fur off in just a minute. When I stopped, he followed me, jumped on the couch, and laid on his side to be combed. When I did, he purred and made air biscuits the whole time !! I got so much of his undercoat off, he's barely shedding today. Highly recommend this.

Wow this product really does the trick I brushed my one dog Australia shepherd and got so much undercoat out it was like another dog so much hair!!!! East to use and clean!!!!

I have two fluffers that shed everywhere. I've tried a regular comb that did nothing but take off surface hair. I've tried the furminator, which was better but my cats weren't big fans. I received this comb yesterday and what a difference The comb took off tons of fur from each of them and they loved it! The comb must feel really good on their skin because they sat perfectly still and didn't run away....totally unusual behavior for them. I can't say enough good things about this tool. Buy it....it's cheap and effective!

Until this brush, I had never found one that worked well to remove loose fur from my long haired cat. She doesn't much like being brushed to begin with but she seems to approve of this one. It removes tons of fur at each brush session. She gets so many knots that I have to have her shaved once a year. She recently got her "lion cut" and is letting me brush her "mane" for now. I hope she will continue to help keep her from developing so many knots around her neck and face. Just wish she would allow me to brush her stomach - that is off limits apparently. I feel this brush would do the trick if she would cooperate. Highly recommend!

Using for maine coon cat, I raked off 6 kittens worth of fur the first day, he loves to be brushed so that helps. I never realized how much undercoat I was missing with his daily brushings~ this is fantastic!! The fur does fly off as you use it, comments about outdoor use are true~ he is an indoor cat so I just vacuum up tufts after use. Love this comb!
