This kitty cave is wonderful! At first, I was hesitant to buy one for my cat because I was afraid that he would get too hot. (I should mention that he's my first cat... he LOVES being too hot... so.) He didn't get into it at first... but then my mother thought to put tissue paper inside, like in his boxes, so he explored it more and fell asleep. He seems to feel safer with the entrance at the top as opposed to the side. It is so cute when he pops his little head out to see what's going on. And, of course, "little" isn't the accurate word to use. He is large. I believe he weighs about as much as my cousin's toddler. (She's small for a person. Large cat=Small person.) He has ample cat-room to move around in. AND! The lovely blue decoration on the outside fits with the blue living room decor. And did I mention that it's lovely? (Plus, I decided long ago that my cat's color is light blue. It's the color he looks best in. And, yes, the dog has a color, too.) Included in the packaging was a little sheep! It was so cute and I was so glad because the dog wanted something, too. He's small and old, otherwise I would not have given it to him. I don't recommend giving the little sheep to your dog or cat. It doesn't seem to have been made for that. Truthfully, I wanted to keep it. But a tiny, old dog with a hopeful face kinda ruined that. He's never played with it without supervision and any "wool" that has come off has been thrown away. The story about the kitty cave, about how the wool came from New Zealand sheep and was turned into something wonderful by Nepalese craftspeople, with fair-trade practices and eco-friendliness, makes me like the company even better. Also, the organic catnip that comes with the cave arrives in a sizable tin, so there is plenty. And it is potent. Completely happy with my purchase! And so is my cat!

While there are cheaper cat caves available, I went with this one for the "eco-friendly" aspect. I was pleasantly surprised that it came in a cloth-string bag, and was shipped in an envelope padded with paper products. No plastic! I'm using the cloth bag as a mini-laundry bag for sorting purposes, and consider it a worthwhile bonus product for purchasing from this company.As for my cats, it took them a few days to decide it was "safe" to go in. The included tin of dried catnip got them sniffing around, but I grow fresh catnip, so they tend not to be impressed with dried. I put in a few leaves of fresh catnip for them, and that got them more interested. Two of them like it well enough to take naps in, and it makes me smile every time to see them in there.HIghly recommended product and company.

I took a leap faith in buying this wool cat cave. Would the quality be good and of course would my teenage Maine Coon, Sterling even like it. I ordered the XL in hopes it would fit a 19 lb. giant of a cat. It arrived and I rubbed a bit of catnip inside set it on the floor he dove head first into it. Explored it and it keep moving around so I set it on achair and finally he crawled into it and slept for hours. He fits in just fine. His new thing is to bring his favorite toys to rest inside,who know a cat could clean up after themselves? This is a huge winner and very cute to look at.

This is a nice little place for my kitties to sit in. They both like it a lot. I put a little bit of catnip in and they basically don’t want to exit their little bed. Size wise, I thought maybe my 6 months old kittens could share it but it’s a little tight for that. It definitely fits a large sized adult cat though. See pictures, this item was well received!

Well it’s been a couple days and my large cat loves his new cave. He lays in there the right way sometimes. He also likes to smash it down to lay on top of it and more recently I found he had somehow turned it upside down and “hidden” himself for the occasion nap. Over all a really good purchase for my boy ❤️

This is beautiful, warm and functional. My cats both like it. The reason it gets four stars and not five is that only my smaller cat fits inside of it. Although it says extra large, my big male Bengal can’t get inside no matter how hard he tries. So instead he puts his butt in it and lays on top of it and smooshes it down. He’s tall, thin, and a lean 20 pounds. I’m disappointed because I purposefully bought an extra large so that both cats could use it, but only my smaller female (12#) fits inside of this cat cave. It is an absolutely beautiful cat bed though, if you don’t have a giant cat.

I love it, but I just somehow knew I would! When my package first arrived my cat was with me, sniffing the plastic inquisitively. She left briefly and then came back as I was setting up the "kitty cave." My cat wasted no time. She gave it two sniffs and then jumped into the cave. That very first night she slept in the cave, which is unusual since she had other, long-time favorite places to sleep! A word on the cost, if I may: I once knew how to "felt" alpaca wool. I know the tedious, hard work. But I can honestly say that this eco-friendly cat cave is worth every dollar, and then some!!! I look at the cave and know its quality. I'm not sure I could do such a job as this!

I never thought my cat would use one of these because he's an eleven year old ( we think ). he moment I got it out of the box and put a tiny bit of the organic catnip that came with, he jumped right in and snuggled himself. This cat cave is more beautiful than the picture looks

以前、ドーム型のベッドを購入したのですが、すぐに型くずれを起こしてしまいました。プラスチック型も考えましたが、トイレっぽくてやめました。このベッドはやっと見つけた！という感じです。作りがしっかりしているのと、何より超カワイイ❤️部屋が素敵になりました。猫たちも、私も大満足です！
