When i purchased this from amazon in december - 75 pods cost $34.98. why such a big price increase?

In November 2020 when your coffee was produced the commodity price for coffee was just over $1.00/lb. Today the commodity price is over $1.90/lb. Forbes says this is due to production shortfalls in Brazil and export disruptions in Vietnam caused by Covid-19 outbreaks and container shortages. Brazil’s total coffee harvest this year is set to post its biggest yearly decline since 2003 due to extreme weather conditions. Global coffee consumption is expected to exceed production this year for the first time since 2017, according to the USDA.
