Ford/ Motorcraft Touch-UP Paint

Matches our Lightning Blue fusion paint color fairly well. The paint was chipped down to the metal and I added this paint over the course of a few days to build it up. Once it was close to the same level a little rubbing compound on the whole area brought it all together. easy flow tip allows for great control. A must have with this color of paint.

2018 F150, Lightning Blue; washed and waxed regularly but paint started to flake. Ford wouldn't respect it's warranty on the paint saying it was environmental in nature. Thanks to this little pen, the two areas (one the size of a quarter on the front of the hood, the other a series of scratches from someones cart) are barely noticeable.Not a perfect fix, as they are noticeable up close, but very satisfied for a DIY job on a nearly new vehicle with such a bright and eye-catching color.

This is the perfect way to be economical in fixing rock chips in our paint. Unfortunately, we live in a community with less tax dollars and the highway dept seems to want to keep repaving our highways with the rock chip and seal method which is really racking up the rock chips in everyone's paint jobs. This is a great help in that battle.

But on a serious note, The color is accurate, and the consistency is good. The pen tip works pretty well, though as a miniature model builder I was cautious and tested it on a scrap of plastic first. It flows rather quickly out of the pen, so for little rock chips (1-3mm) it will be way too much paint. I recommend putting it on a scrap 'palette' and then using a fine point, such as a toothpick to carefully dab on just what you need.Unfortunately, the clearcoat does not come with the pen tip, which i feel is a missed opportunity, as it would be so nice to be able to apply the clear using the same method described earlier. Simply put, the sponge brush tip for the clear is too wide for tiny rock chips. I'd be hesitant to use touchup for anything larger than a few mm, but for those little chips, it works well enough, unless you get the light right on it.

Genuine Motorcraft product. Works great! I would always buy the manufacturer color instead of Duplicolor.

I have a 2017 Ford escape in a Lighting Blue paint job and have a couple of dings. Both were really small(about 1/8 of an inch in size) so I had I smooth I paint out the best I could. My application of the paint wasn't perfect but I am extremely happy with the results. Color was a perfect match

Very good color match. Ford F150 lightning blue metallic. It’s very good paint but the price is exceedingly high.
