Works great!
I love the fact its wall powered and for the price, it is INSANELY good, I've been using this every day for a month and it has worked great and hasn't stopped working one bit, weight doesn't really matter but it is very light, the built in lights make it very easy when I try to plug something in at night and it helps a lot. It's compatible with windows computers as far as I know due to the fact I've only used it with windows, but it has kept working for the past month with no issues and I love how it looks.

Works well - beats buying a DAS
This little unit is a powerful alternative to buying a dedicated DAS (Direct Attached Storage) enclosure. I own multiple external hard drives that I use to back up my data (and maintain multiple copies). I was thinking about replacing my old DAS - due to obsolescence (esata & very loud fan-noise). This little unit lets me plug-in multiple external USB drives, turn them on/off individually to protect their contents, all with a single USB connection. You can also plug in thumb drives. I have 3 external drives just sitting next to each other. As capacity increases or the drives age, I just plug in a new one.The USB cable from the atolla to the computer should be a little longer. It is not user replaceable.

Plug it in and ready to go!
Hub was easy to use, just plug in the power connection and attache the USB into the computer and you are done. My computer only had 2 USB ports and I needed one more. Works great.

Does what it claims on my Mac (Ventura)
Plugged it in, checked system info and saw immediately the addition of the 3.1 hub. Tried running a few power-hungry peripherals, including SSD, DVD-RW, Wifi dongle and it handled it flawlessly. Cord is much longer than most I've found, so that's great for cluttered/complicated workstations. Wish the power cord was a bit longer but... oh well. The instructions are minimal and don't seem to really make it clear that a long press is required to turn a port off, but once you get the hang of that, the light on the port shuts off and things work perfectly. The data cord is a bit stiff, so you will want double-faced adhesive to hold it in place (be nice if it came with that and with the ability to screw it down).

Nice little USB Hub
This hub is perfect for my needs. Small size, good power for fast charging, and I love the independent power switches. Easy to install; just plug and play.I needed it further from my CPU than the 2 foot built in USB cable allows, so I separately bought a 10 foot USB extension cable (Type A male to female) and it works like a charm.Highly recommended!
