Looks realistic. Great alternative to the worry of regular candles. Still provides all the ambiance of that “glow” we all love.

Looks so real. I wish it had a remote control

I like this candle for several reasons. It looks like a real candle with a moving flame. It has a timer so it will come on and go off the same time every day. Even though it looks like wax, it is a hard plastic and will not melt outside. It is to go in a Japanese lantern in the garden...it will hold up outside, look like an authentic candle and shed a lot of light without running any electrical wires. This is not my first Luminara candle. I would definitely buy this one again and again. Hope this helps.

These luminara candles are thee best way to light the porch or deck. They look gorgeous in our lanterns. Quick FYI, they take 2 AA batteries so they won’t last as long on the timer function as some of our others that take C batteries.
