Firstly, these filters are like the secret agents of the coffee world. They’re unbleached, which means they don’t have that “I’m trying too hard” bleachy smell. They’re natural brown, which makes them look like they’re on a constant quest for artisanal authenticity. They’ve got the whole “I’m a real, down-to-earth coffee filter” vibe going on, like they were hand-woven by coffee-loving monks on a mountain top. Using them with my Ninja coffee maker has been a revelation. My coffee now tastes like it was brewed in a rainforest, with hints of “I’m doing my part for the environment.” The filters fit perfectly, like they were custom-tailored for my machine. No awkward fits or unsightly folds—just smooth, seamless coffee joy. Plus, these filters have this fascinating way of letting you know they’re doing their job right. These are high quality filters at a very good price. Can't beat it, even for the store brand at my local grocery. This is a great way to make coffee. Easier to clean up than a coffee press and works better with ordinary coffee ground for drip brew. (A coffee press works best with more coarsely ground coffee.) Some reviewers have mentioned that they've had trouble with edges of the filter "blowing out" and allowing grounds into the coffee. Since the edges are crimped, not glued, this can be a common problem. The trick is to fold the bottom edge over one way and then fold the long edge over the other way, giving the folds a good crease. I've not had a blowout since I started doing this. I did notice that the last box of this brand I got from Amazon had wider crimps than previously, I assume to help lessen the chance of blowing out. I'm still folding them over as described anyway, because it makes them fit my cones better.

Make sure of the shape of your filter holder and if you have the right match (works perfect with my model Ninja) this is a great deal.

Good filter

I have a since figured out a way to make these filters work without coming apart at the seams. Just fold them over and crease them into place. It not only stopped the seams from separating, it also helped make the cones fit a lot better. It's a shame to have to do this, but once you get in the habit, it's not a big deal. Melitta use to be a name in quality...but not any more. I had noticed they didn't fit as well as they should, but felt that wasn't enough to complain about. Then I started noticing coffee grounds. At first I just thought I'd over poured the water and it over flowed. Today I had hot boiling water and coffee grounds all over my countertop. The seams aren't sealed well at all, and instead of holding the water and letting it drip through, it all came at once and over flowed onto my countertop. Luckily I was standing there and it didn't get beyond that. I'm extremely disappointed and missed the return window, literally, by days. If you buy them, inspect each one carefully. I won't be buying them again.

These work very well, they are much better than the white ones imo. Coffee always comes out amazing
