Since I received this I've been using it daily and I can't see getting by without it. Recent diagnoses with metastatic cancer in my back caused major pain with getting out of my bed and this ladder assist definitely helps with that. Especially helpful are the 4 grips which are enough to successfully and slowly rise into a sitting position to exit the bed. Currently, I weigh 234 lbs (6'6") and the ladder straps have held up. Would definitely recommend.

This is a nice product for the specialized use. I use it to stabilize myself when I’m sitting up in the bed on the edge. It does require a little arm strength if you have to pull yourself up.

This is a pretty useful device to help you sit yourself upright - such as bringing yourself from a lying to sitting position with assistance needed due to things such as back injuries. What we did not like were the instructions. The instructions were very confusing and only addressed the ability to attach to a footboard bed. We do not have a footboard on our bed and have the what I guess is now old-timey metal bed rails with box springs and mattress. A much better job could have been done to explain different ways to attach when no foot board is present. The device itself seems to be very well made. Nice cushioned hand holds.
