These diffusers seem to be well put together and made quite a noticeable difference in the Imaging in my system. I chose to spray them with matte polyurethane spray to keep the natural wood grain look but they can be lightly scuffed with a fine Scotch-Brite pad or just some fine sandpaper and painted as well. I have New Form research R645 V.3 loudspeakers and placed these on the wall beside the speakers in the first reflection points because the ribbon has a very wide dispersion. Along with some judiciously placed absorption panels and bass trapping in the corners my room has been completely transformed and I now have a wide, deep and very focused sound stage. I've been in love with these speakers but they truly reached another level with this room treatment. Highly recommended!

Does what it's suppose to do. Buy at least 6 sets. Still less expensive than making them yourself

I chose this because I knew it was going to look way better then foam. I painted them with spray paint without shine. I did this for looks only and don’t know if it helps absorb sound. These are a bargain compare to same at Etsy.
