Honestly in spite of the criticism, I like this movie more every time I see it. Zhao takes some big swings at some big themes that might have had a more positive response if the movie wasn't tied to the MCU. But enough has already been written about the movie itself, I wanted just to touch on the 4k Blu Ray itself rather than add to the discoure about the movie itself. I have most of the MCU collected on 4k and generally speaking Marvel/Disney need to up their game significantly when it comes to 4k and Dolby Atmos presentations. Eternals is possibly the worst offender I've seen, the picture is so dull I found myself checking to see if the 4k HDR was actually in play. The soundtrack is typical "Atmouse" i.e weak bass/LFE and very little use of moving objects or height channels. That said, the full HD audio track is significantly better than the Disney Plus compressed audio, though with picture quality this bad, for the first time I would actually recommend streaming the movie in Dolby Vision rather than watching on the usually superior physical format.

One of the more unusual Marvel movies but none the less still entertaining and worth a watch.It does beg the question though, why in any of the Marvel movies since Eternals, have they not referenced or mentioned the giant hands and head sticking out of the earth!?!?

I had not heard too much about this film. It seemed to have snuck under my radar. However as a long time marvel comics and film fan, I bought it, watched it and was spell bound for the duration of the film. It was something quite different to the other marvel films, for example spider man and the avengers. The teasers at the end of the film, which I will not spoil for those of you who have yet to watch the eternals, sets up eternals 2 and some new additions to the marvel film universe perfectly. A thoroughly enjoyable film.
