Halabi - No Salt Mixed Nuts - Peanuts, Cashews, Almonds, Pistachios, Hazelnuts - Healthy Baked Snacks in a Can - 400g

Healthy nd very good mixture.

These nuts arrived well sealed. Upon trying them, I was struck by the freshness. These nuts are moist and plump in the case of some and the ones with the coatings have the appropriate level of crispiness. The flavor for all the nuts was outstanding. The only thing I thought was weird was that the pistachios were the only nut of the 11 that come inside shells. This mix would not be good for very elderly people or young children who need to pry nuts open or who can't tell an uncracked pistachio from one of the other nuts in the mix and they try biting on it. This is, however, exactly how the mix is advertised so I'm not docking any stars for it. The pistachios are, like the rest of the nuts, quite fresh and tasty.

These mixed nuts were fresh and tasted great. We really enjoyed the mix in them, and they worked well for serving at a family party. No complaints here - they were of good quality and get two thumbs up from us!

This was delicious and had a great assortment of roasted nuts, coated nuts, and fried corn. The coated nuts were nice and crunchy while retaining all of the nut flavor. Everything tasted great with no strange or undesirable flavors. This is a healthier option too since it's unsalted, and with the mix of flavors you really don't need any salt at all for this to taste great. The tin is nice and provides better protection for the nuts than something like a plastic bag. All required labeling was present on the tin, including production date and best-by dates on the bottom. This is a product of Lebanon. If you like nuts, give this a try!

There are some very positive things that should be plainly outlined from the start: ~ The shelled nuts are very high quality and fresh-tasting. ~ The the nuts with shells (the pistachios) are very high-quality and fresh tasting ~ The coated nuts are delicious. ~ The nut flavor is excellent without the addition of heavy salt, like so many other mixed nuts. So in-short, all of the product in the can is absolutely excellent. The pistachio's were delicious, and especially the cashews. The coated nuts were new to me, and took a bit of getting used to, but I really liked them as well. The problem I have with this is the mix. If you grab a few nuts, you have to make sure you don't have a pistachio in there with the shell. So you have to sift through every single nibble you take of these nuts. And as you get to the bottom of the can, you have pistachio shells that have fallen off and are mixed in with the nuts. It's just not worth the effort to sort through them all - and it's unpleasant to get pistachio shells in your mouth when you think you're about to chew an almond or something. Another complaint I had is that when I opened the can it was half empty due to the settling. While I loved the taste and the quality of the nuts and would certainly order something else from this company, I won't be ordering this mix again. They really shouldn't have mixed shelled and unshelled nuts in the same can.
