Auxbeam 8 Gang Switch Panel Bluetooth AR-800 with RGB APP Control 3 Modes

This switch panel is excellent. If you don't have a basic level of electrical skill, have it professionally installed. Plenty of videos on You Tube. With that said, I installed this on my Nissan Pro 4X and it works perfectly. The aux-beam app works well for adjusting the back-light color/brightness to match your interior lights. The biggest challenge is finding that perfect spot under your hood for your panel, with proximity to your battery. And, where to place your controller inside your vehicle, along with fishing the controller harness wire into the cab. Once installed, you have a central location to just wire in a positive and negative wire from each of eight different accessories based on amp draw. No separate relays, multiple wiring harnesses and switches cluttering up your vehicle. It has worked flawlessly, looks great and makes adding accessories a breeze. Also, it comes with a wide variety of labels for your controller, which looks great when back-lit.

The first one they sent me didn’t work I contacted them and they had a new one shipped out to be in 3 days. It’s a really cool set up and works good now!

Bought this and installed it the same day. Unfortunately it wouldn't work. I got in contact with them and to my surprise there was an instant response from them and constant communication!! They told me they think the whole unit was bad and that they would send me a brand new one and said I would get it within 3-7 business days but I got it in the mail same day from the last email response! I swapped everything out and worked perfectly. To say that I am happy with how it works and the customer service with this company is would be an understatement! Highly recommend this product and will definitely be buying more things from them!

I already had the Auxbeam BA-80 8-gang system installed in my vehicle, but I wanted to upgrade to this AR-800 system to get the new Bluetooth control and RGB backlighting features. Installation was very easy, as Auxbeam gives you practically everything you need to get this into your vehicle: power cables, circuit breaker, accessory wires, button decals, etc. In fact, it is almost identical to what you get with the older BA-80 system. The only clue that you will spot is that the relay box has a differently styled cover (and blue terminals inside); even the newer AR-800 control panel looks exactly the same as the older BA-80! For those who are considering upgrading from the BA-80, the quality of the components given are very good. The control panel has a metal frame and the membrane buttons are of excellent quality. The control panel does not feel like some cheap electronic at all! The relay box is fairly heavy and built solid as well. Actual system functionality is the same as the BA-80 except you also get two new features: RGB backlighting and Bluetooth app control. RGB backlighting allows you to change the backlight of the buttons to practically any color so you can match the Auxbeam control panel to your dash lighting. Bluetooth control allows you to use your smartphone to control your lights and accessories remotely, including added features for each circuit such as momentary control or strobe/flashing. Both features are done through a phone app, which is pretty basic but does the job. Unfortunately after install I discovered that tthere are 3 flaws to this system... and they are exactly the same 3 complaints I had with the original BA-80: First, the included circuit breaker feels cheap and questionable, but I already had a different circuit breaker in place so I did not use the included one; Second, the newer AR-800 switch panel STILL resets back to "all off" when you turn the key off, so if you like certain accessories to turn on when you turn the key to ON you have to manually turn them back on at the switch panel every single time you start the vehicle; and Third. the automatic brightness/dimmer illumination feature still doesn't seem to work at all, the lighted switch panel stays the same brightness no matter if it's daytime or night time. So the AR-800 system is basically an upgraded BA-80 that adds in RGB backlighting and App remote control for about $100 more than the BA-80. It is still a bang-for-the-buck alternative to the more expensive SwitchPro-style switch panels going for $500+, so if you can live with the minor flaws (I think I can) then this is a great value system to control all your vehicle electronics!

Didn’t expect to be this impressed, but here we are. Feels well made, does exactly what it promises, and didn’t fall apart the first time I used it — which sadly puts it ahead of a lot of stuff I’ve bought online. Solid switch panel that made my teryx SXS cleaner with few wires everywhere. Prettt supportive and non-violent switch board.

Great product. Nicely designed and well thought out. I so far have not had any issues nor do I actually expect to. Mounted up slick as snot on the firewall and easy to access to add more goodies when I get them in! Love it and love the one cord going into the cab. My only wish…… from the control panel that’s in the vehicle, the attached cord should be longer to avoid having the connection of the two parts of the cord being seen and easier to navigate thru dash and trim panels. That my personal suggestion is all tho.

I used this on a Jeep TJ to add lighting and other add-ons (water pump, etc.). It makes the installation cleaner. I mounted the remote unit on the top of the window frame. And it's perfect! I like the available functions. I wanted the ability to use it remotely for times when I am in my roof-top-tent (RTT), e.g if I heard a noise I can use my phone and the available app to remotely turn-on all of my LED lights (all around the Jeep); I was concerned it would not have the ability/reception in the RTT- no problems! I can control this while sitting at the campsite. In the Jeep, it's not an easy installation as there is no really clean place to install the controller. I installed on a frame that I fabricated and placed above the battery. I used a double-pole/double-throw switch to allow normal connection to the ignition/accessory OR a connection to the battery for times when I am camping and want to be able to turn on the surrounding lights remotely. Works great. NOTE: I have the best battery you can buy so I don't have to worry about running it down. This unit is not cheap, but it does exactly what I needed. I highly recommend it.

Having issues after one year of use. No bueno when on the water and your graphs are wired to it Powers on but as soon as you press a circuit it shuts down. Gonna reach out to see how good there customer service is. Reached out to customer service and nothing but good things from this seller. They asked for a vid showing what was wrong. And sent out a new replacement. Awwwwsome thanks agin for a great little unit and ease of install

No puedo conectar el bluetooth

I can't speak more fondly of a mod I've done. This little guy has saved a lot of the headache with feeding and managing wires to the battery, which has been worth it alone. I really like that you can disconnect the power to the unit whenever you want with the master fuse trigger, as it makes things super easy to work with. Plus, having one switch panel has proven to be way more convenient than having a bunch of individual switches, which I am not trying to cut through the dash for. Had it been any more pricey I probably wouldn't have bought it, but I'm glad I did and can't recommend it enough to people who are deciding to wire up switches! I'm currently using it for an overhead light bar, fog lights, interior lights, and my amp. Having to start the car in the winter with the power pull from the amp being turned off definitely makes me feel better for my poor battery! Can't wait to wire up the rest of the spots!

The good: -waterproof fuse box. Really nice design, easy mounting. -great touch panel. Metal, feels like quality. -tidy -custom colours to match your interior. - Suggested improvements: -more instruction on choosing fuses for circuits and whether you can customize the placement. I want to have full control of where I put buttons on the switch pad and it’s not clear if you can change the order of the fuses in the panel to suit, as each input has the amperage printed on the housing. -would like to choose an “on” colour for the button rather than the little red, green or blue led above it. -longer main power cable (in a Jeep, the best mounting place is opposite side of the battery) -make the ten button version available on Amazon! - the app is horrible. It works, but the user experience is awful. One thing not in the literature is that you can turn your phone to landscape mode to make the touchpad bigger, but it’s still way smaller than it could be. Bluetooth connection has to be set up manually every time you want to use it. - Would like an option to use a power button to enable a set of circuits you don’t want pressed accidentally, like lockers or winch in/out - mounting options are ok but should include a standard ball mount

I would've given 5 stars but I dont like that u cant turn off the switch panel, but u can dim the brightness so good for that, after a couple of days u will get use to so no biggie. The app works as advertised, you can do a lot with it, so far no problems. The rest is good, nice build, nice features, I liked it. I use an android phone (Samsung galaxy). I will update afer 6 months.
