The package contains 70 individually packaged eye patches. Each eye patch is basically a band-aid shaped like an eye. The packages were tricky to open, so I cut them open with scissors. The adhesive is strong and a bit painful to remove.Ali Julia reviewReview of OPTHOPATCH Adhesive Eye Patches

My 1-year-old son’s doctor prescribed these patches. He only wears them for 2 hours a day. Sometimes the adhesive is strong and sometimes it’s not. I have a non adhesive patch that I put over them when they decide not to stick. They easily remove from his eye without pulling off eyebrow/eyelashes. I do think that they are overpriced. They are just like band-aids, but a different shape. They should be priced at $5. I have been searching for more by a different brand because it’s not worth the $40 (taxes/shipping). This company should lower the price to make it more affordable for parents. As soon as my son understands not to remove the patch from his eye, I will stop buying adhesive patches. I feel robbed every time I make a purchase. I’m sure I’m not the only one that feels this way. I will be searching for other alternatives in the meantime.

These have several perks: They came with detailed instructions (bonus points!), they came with posters to put discarded eyepatches on to make shapes (mine came with a stocking poster and a Christmas tree poster with outlines showing where to put the patches), and they are really, really easy to apply to the face.I'm not sure how well they'd hold up to moisture or sweat, and I think it might get a little uncomfortable after a while, but if you just needed to wear it for a few minutes to an hour or two it should be fine.I tested the black and white patches with a colored pencil and a pen and it seemed to take it okay, so I'm assuming a marker would work as well. Just make sure to color it BEFORE putting on a face because you don't want to be pushing on an eye.I left the "value for money" section a neutral 3 stars because I don't know what a good price range for these would be.Overall these are a well-executed product.Thanks!

Updated to add: once we started using the red patches we realized All of the red patches in the box were damaged. The entire half of the patch wouldn’t stick in the corner. Completely disappointing. Only the red ones though so super weird. But, these are way too expensive to get if 1/5 of the box is damaged.These work really well for my kids. They stick on well and the holiday decorations are so fun. It creates a motivating incentive to wear them. It includes a cute Christmas tree poster to put the patches on when done.
