Useful 4 Piece Individually Labeled Solid Tungsten Carbide 1/4" Shank CNC/Router End Mill Bits
I love woodworking and a router is an important tool to do many fancy and simple wood shaping tasks for me. When I work with wood I need properly sharpened high speed Router Bits that have Tungsten Carbide (TC) inserts on the edges to keep them sharp as they shape my wood, particle board or MDF. Solid bits of TC can be even better. This is a set of 4 Individually Labeled Solid Tungsten Carbide 1/4" Shank CNC/Router End Mill Bits which though intended for a CNC End Mill can be used with a 1/4" Trim Router. I liked that these are well labeled on the individual plastic bit holders with the specifics. See the listing for a detailed bit description.These are well made and uniformly sharp. They are a bit costly but for solid TC bits I would expect to pay more. Very useful indeed to have both an upcut & downcut spiral bit. An upcut bit moves swarf/chips from the bottom to the shank preventing bottom tearout in wood. A downcut bit moves swarf/chips from the top shank end to the tip preventing top surface tearout in wood. Tearout can still occur but these when used properly can limit or eliminate it.I Recommend this Sinoprotools Brand End Mill Set, CNC Router Bits Carving Set 1/4 Inch Shank, for Wood Detail Profile V Groove Engraving. That it will serve the purpose for which was intended
Although a little smaller than the usual size router bit however I love it. I have not used them yet but I'm sure they will be useful.
