Bought this for my 3 year old Nephew. He loves stars and the moon, and the sun, clouds... He is in that discovery stage. I got this for him because his glow in the dark sticker stars turned into falling or shooting stars. I haven't given to him yet because I broke the thing getting it out of the box. It comes apart easily. When I finally got it together and got it working, it was great. (not sure if the seller did a number on this before selling or if was just the design, the parts didn't seem as high end as they should be for kids) As soon as I do some more tweaking on this, I will give it to him, I just don't want him to love it and then it fall apart.I got what I paid for, maybe a little less.

I wanted a star light and scoured amazon trying to find one that suited my needs. It seems that there are either cheap ones with horrible reviews, or REALLY expensive ones of better quality - nothing in between! The picture for this model looked neat, so I gave it a shot. With such a low price tag, there isn't really much to lose.I received my lamp a few days ago, and it's definitely worth the price. It's solid enough to serve its purpose, and the LED lights change in such a way that there is a constant fluctuation of blended colors on my wall/ceiling (like the picture). Yes, it only works in the dark. It's true that it doesn't project perfectly on walls way across the room. No, it doesn't look like actual stars. Is it cool? YES. Does it make really cool, color-changing spots of light all over your wall and ceiling? YES. Is it worth <$8? Definitely!Don't be scared by the negative reviews on this site. This is a cool little lamp and I'm glad I bought it!

Very affordable but product was flimsy and fell apart. Projected lights were nice at first, but overall not worth it

This was bought because my two children who share a room are afraid of the dark. I have a very bright lamp in their room but it has proved to be way too bright. They usually just stay up and play after I get them into bed because the lamp I was using is to bright. I didnt want to buy a nightlight because the kids always move the night light and somehow it either gets broken or lost!So I decied to buy this projector night light, the price was just right and.... It came fast!It is beautiful! My kids love the lights and stars it produced. It is not too bright, but bright enough to help them go to sleep unafraid.The light has 2 settings. 1 for just the stars, black and white. Or it has a setting for the led colored lights and the stars. The colors fade from green, blue, orange etc. about every 25-30 secounds. It runs on 3 AA batteries.It is relaxing for the children. After the first night of use the kids fell asleep within 15 mins instead of the hour and a half it usually takes!Infact it is so relaxing and romantic I am thinking of getting one for my room ;)I would highly reccomend this for any mother who has kids who are afraid of the dark or kids who are star gazers!

Its okay...The best I have seen in this price range. The projector I received didn't come with a power cord though. Luckily, I already had one that was compatible. If you're looking for a night sky experience I wouldn't recommend this product, but its cute enough to use as a nightlight.

Not as bright as a I thought it was gonna be cling of disappointed but there's also no adapter? And I hope all it needs is new batterys to be brighter!:)

I got this for my new granddaughter for when she comes to our house. She seems to be engaged by the stars, but I think my boyfriend and I are even more mesmerized by it. :DIt's a little flimsy, so definitely needs to be kept up out of reach, but for the price it's better than expected. Two modes - the first, stationary white light stars; and second, moving multi-color stars.Fun product!

I bought this as a Christmas present for my sister. Fortunately, I had the foresight to check it before I gave it to her and I am so glad I did. I stuck in the batteries and it looked like it worked. However, the battery cover was broken and would not stay on with or without the batteries. Secondly, the light stopped working after I pressed the button twice. (This was within five minutes of opening the package). I have since returned it. It looked really cool when it was working, but the craftsmanship is incredibly poor.
