Great decaf tea
A good decaf loose tea. Bought via subscription so it's cheaper. The best decaf tea I've found.

Loose decaf tea
I’ve always loved loose tea as it’s a much better cup of tea, however first cup which I rushed to make after delivery & even bought a new strainer but both my old & new strainer were of little use because there is so much fine tea power in this tea that you end up with a cup of tea that looks like it hasn’t been through a tea stainer at all … very disappointing & would not recommend

Fannings means dust
Its good but make sure you use either a pot or a very fine meshed infuser, i found i didnt need a big teaspoon. if this was actual leaf... like other loose leaf teas ive tried itd be great but a star off for dust.. so buyer beware. ill try and find something decaf with leaf.. which seams pretty hard to find.. though i did find a ceylon decaf that is leaf that's good.. though ceylon is quite subtle i dont think itd replace assam if thats what you are after.

Don't expect an "English breakfast" flavour
Having been badly let down by anothe "English breakfast" decaffeinated tea, I thought I'd give this one a go. Well, it's OK, but I wouldn't describe it as English breakfast. I see it's produced in Rwanda, and presumably from a different type of tea bush to that used in India/Ceylon. The flavour is OK-ish, fairly "builders" in a non-descript sort of way, but the aroma is pretty awful - think damp woolen socks.I'm afraid to say a triumph of packaging over product, and expensive for what it is.Would I order again? No. I will continue my quest for a decent decaffeinated English Breakfast tea.

Acquired taste and powdery, but plastic-free
I'm trying not to use teabags, to reduce plastic waste and after reading about plastic getting into your tea. I have a strainer and use loose leaf tea for my caffeinated cuppa in the morning. But for my decaff in the afternoon I was surprised to discover no one sells it loose. So this gets five stars for being the only one I've found. However it has rather an acquired taste - a strong earthiness at the back of the throat that I haven't encountered in bagged decaff. And it's very fine, which means there's always grit in the last quarter of my cup. So I'm taking a star off for those things.Overall though, I'm just glad someone out there is happy to help me in my attempt to stay plastic-free. Next time I might look into Clipper, which I believe uses only paper in its bags, but I would buy this again if I don't find anything else.

Very fine leaf.
We have had to use a tea strainer in addition to our infuser pot as the leaves are so fine it almost looks like a powder. Whilst I appreciate that they have been through the decaffeination process, they wash through when you pour on the water. Looked a bit chunkier in the pics.but then all of their different teas seem to have the same pictures. Have had to purchase some fillable teabags just to use it up. Disappointing and won't be buying again.

Tastes fine, but is so fine it just goes straight through my strainer!
I was really looking forward to trying out this tea as I wanted a loose leaf decaf tea so that I wasn't using so many teabags. However, this tea is sooo fine that even with 2 strainers stacked on top of each other, I still end up with half the leaves in my mug! This is very frustrating and takes away from the taste because of the dregs I end up drinking. Bit disappointed seeing as its such a large bag and I can't think of a better way to use this without drinking the leaves themselves.
