.
Only complaint is the thickness gauge or lack there of. A click to know a 1/4, 1/2 etc would be better then a Sharpie mark that I had to make to get consistent cuts.

Cutter
The only that upsets me on this I'd that my bread gets stuck at the bottom by the blade and I have to turn off after each cut and I have to push it through. The back board at bottom near blade needs to be shorten.

Good , mine need a few adjustments though.
This 10" slicer arrived branded Zeny, so I suspect that all the China-made 10" slicers of this same appearance come from the same manufacturer. This was well packaged - reinforced and banded cardboard box with thick formed styrofoam to hold the slicer in place and protect the contents. The materials in the slicer are good grade and the finish is also. It is sturdy and will take many years of use structurally. Electric components are simple and will likely last as well. When the slicer arrived it had some problems that might make one return it unless there is time and a desire to fix a brand new product. Four issues had to be addressed:1. The upper roller bearing shaft was too long and protruded into the inside front face of the case, preventing full travel of the carriage. I was able to remove a washer from under the bushing and that shortened the shaft for enough clearance. This allowed the full travel of the carriage from spring to spring. 2. The vertical bearings were binding on the foward rail, causing the machine to slide across the counter when in use, I adjusted the rail downward by installing some thin washers between it and the frame to shim it and eliminated the binding. It now has good smooth one hand operation.3. The back plate required adjustment to an even gap between it and the blade from top to bottom. Simple to adjust with the two mount screws at the base of the plate on the lower foward side.4. The thickness adjustment dial was binding and not easy to operate. It was corrected by loosening the four allen-head capscrews that mount it to the frame inside the machine and operates easily now.I am not sure if others have these issues, the manufacturer makes a good quality machine, and it is adjustable for good functionality, however, It seems like they do not have an operational check and adjustment process in place.I rate the quality of components to be good, however, as delivered, for the plug in and go consumer, it is poor because the adjustments necessary for good operation.Overall, after making the adjustments, and putting it to use, it is a good slicer.
