Solid Budget Holster for Training or Backup Use
I picked this holster up for a CCW course because I didn’t have the time to wait for a custom option, and it worked out well. It held my Springfield 1911 Mil-Spec securely throughout the training without any shifting or looseness. The retention was firm, and it stayed comfortable enough for the duration of the course. That said, I wouldn’t personally use it for everyday carry — it’s a bit bulkier and not as refined as a higher-end holster. But for training, range time, or as a backup option, it does the job and is very affordable.

New: Ordered again. This time I got the correct one and it is full length. So much for quality control. However I'm not happy with the retention. It's either too tight or too loose and it's by a hairs width of a turn and that turn causes the screw to come out from the back ring. Potential but wasted on a rushed design. Old: This says it's for 5" 1911's. Not even close. The packaging says it and was not opened before I got it. Looking closer at the pictures, the real ones show they aren't full size. The renders show them as full.
