Gold Metallic Covering Contact Paper (18in X 6ft )

Solid, bright color, not garish at all, but a perfect gold. Thick and substantial, grid marked on the back for ease in cutting and measuring. I got this to put under a copper tub we are using as a cooler on our porch for a party. The gold paper dressed up the shelf perfectly, and protected the shelf below from water damage. Perfect!

At first everything seemed fine. As I was sorting it out, I realized it's actually slight shorter than 18" (I mean I wanted this size for a reason,) so that was disappointing. While trying to cut out parts using the grid, I noticed that there's A LOT of text on the back that covers up the grid, rendering the grid useless and my lines uneven. The MOST DISAPPOINTING thing of all this is that after ONE DAY of putting it up, it popped right back up! The film is thin and flimsy and the "adhesive" is horrid. If I hadn't already cut out everything I'd be returning it. I hate I spent over 16$ for what is now trash. Who has that kind of money!?

It doesn’t stick to the surface. Only partial adhesion even after wiping it down with alcohol wipes and then bleach after that was unsuccessful. Incredibly disappointing. Also, much more of a bright yellow fake gold color than the image suggests.

This is well made and easy to use. Highly recommend

It’s gorgeous! Not sure if it’s 18 or 24 carat good tho. Either way it’s lovely.

The paper is good quality and a nice rich gold color.
