Newmic JU-08 Diatonic Harmonica, Key of D

Kids loved them. I wanted something that would be a little cleaner over time than a wooden reed but didn't want a cheep plastic toy. They play well, actually. One of my daughters opened YouTube and figured out how to play 2-3 different songs within an hour. Who would have known? When she plays the tunes she knows, the instrument seems clean and in-tune. I'd buy another without hesitation.

My C came with an almost useless 2 and 3 draw and an additional 2 notes that wouldn't sound because of bad gapping. It's a shame too because the price, fit/finish and looks are all terrific. It has a great look and feel, the potential is there, something was just lacking on the QC end of things...at least with mine. Some reeds were not centered, some were even twisted. At this price they could blow the lid off the industry, just need to take a few additional steps to insure quality.

Excellent sound right out of the box. We'll have to see how durable it is; how long it will hold pitch, but a great price if the harp holds up. The packaging is kinda "over the top"....much more than needed. So far, only key of C available....hoping Newmic offers other popular keys like A, F, etc

It is exactly what you would think it is. I ordered a Harmonica..and I got one. I'm happy!

I bought the C. Terrific tone and bendability. The best harp in it's price range I've come by yet. Don't hesitate to try out this one. You're in for a really great surprise!
