I bought this fountain, because I find them very relaxing, and they are very appealing. I decided to purchase it, because it looked like a good fit for what I wanted. I read in the reviews that the sound isn't too loud, and by the sound, I meant the water. It came and it was easy to set up, and pretty self explanatory. I only looked the instructions, because I wanted to make sure I understood everything. I turned it on, and everything seemed to be working well. It did have a humming noise from the pump, so I saw in the questions that the water level may have been too low. So I added more, and let it be. It didn't change, so I returned it because it didn't serve the purpose. It is ascetically pleasing, but don't expect the water noise to happen and the pump is loud.

Very nice fountain. It is quiet. You don't hear the motor at all, but you also don't hear any water. I need a trickle to fall asleep but I don't hear the water "falling" at all.Update: I really wanted to like this so I kept it plugged in and now, a couple days later, I can hear the water falling. Maybe I put too much water in it and some needed to evaporate. I don't know, but it works and you absolutely cannot hear any motor sounds, only beautiful water sounds.

It’s exactly what I wanted…easy to assemble and very nice

At first glance the product looked great and sounded great until I checked on it one day to find it had leaked water everywhere underneath it ruining the finish on my shelf. The plastic container that holds the water is terribly made. PLACE SOMEWHERE THAT YOU CAN AFFORD A SPILL.
