Victory to those who dare...
From the few I've used, the quality of the connector seems to rate five stars. Where they fall short is not so much how difficult they are to fit onto quad shield cable, but the absence of meaningful documentation or instructions on how to overcome this obstacle. As a couple reviewers have noted not all cable is created equal, and therein lies the problem. The Southwire RG6 quad shield cable I purchased from Lowes appears to be quality stuff, but the outer sheathing is extremely stiff and inflexible. I was unable to get a connector to fit on correctly with the 1/4-1/4 dielectric/copper core reveal fixed strippers produced. No matter what I did here, nothing worked. No matter how neatly I folded back both layers of braid, or using a flaring tool, or a heat gun to soften the outer sheath, etc, the inner barrel of the connector always seemed to pull the inner braid back down into the cable which would then bunch up preventing the connector from sliding any further on. I even purchased a Jonard Tools FT-6 tool (pictured) to help me get better leverage to seat the connector. The only thing the additional leverage netted me was to cause the inner braid to sufficiently bunch up that it swelled the cable below the connector preventing the connector from seating any further. Not one to surrender (here is where professional installers will mock me) I purchased a cable stripper (pictured) that would allow me to strip the sheathing and dielectric independent of one another to any length I desired. To that end, and here is where the pictures come in. First I stripped off a ridiculous amount (1.25”) of sheathing. I then folded back outer and inner braid minus the outer foil to where I had enough braid I could hold on to when seating the connector. While wasteful, this exaggerated length prevented any braid from being drawn back into the cable, and permitted the connector barrel to slide unimpeded between the inner braid and foil covered dielectric.I then trimmed the dielectric and copper core to 3/8”-5/16” respectively. It was then, and only then that I was able to successfully slide the connector all the way on reasonably effortlessly. Last steps, crimp the connector, trim the excess braid, and wrap a short length of electrical tape around the connector base to cover what little braid I couldn’t trim off. Easy peasy. As this review implies, I probably invested more money and time to slay this dragon than it was worth. I should have returned the cable to Lowes and purchased another brand elsewhere. But my pride wouldn’t permit me to admit defeat so there you have it, a reasonable solution for those of you as stubborn as me.All that said, I would buy these again and I would recommend to a friend with the caveat that there may be a learning curve.

simple product that's simply useful
With the right compression tool, these are simple to apply. I replaced all the ends put on by some electricians that did me a favor running underground conduit when running a new power run between garage and house, and their ends all fell off when merely touched. So glad I had these to re-strip a couple of ends, press on and then compress. Signal seems great- no quality degradation I can tell in phone or TV and internet speeds are just as high as before. I do not have any special testing equipment, so all I can say is they're adequate for 60Mbps internet and show no issues in phone/TV. Since there's so many, I'll end up using these indoor to create new cables and to run some to rooms without a jack now, but I see no issue with this plan. Good product with easy use as long as you get the center conductor/insulation all the way to the opening you see inside the connector (that's the part the electrician messed up).

The coupler manufacturing DOES make a difference!
Already had the COAX stripper and tool to put them on, as well as a COAX tester.I'd had poor results with some Belkin couplers, and thought I was doing something wrongHowever, the only one of these that didn't work right - I've put 11 on thus far - was one that I hadn't pushed the cable in far enough. (The center wasn't even coming through in the coupler - completely my fault.)100% connections? It must be the product - I'm doing nothing different than I was with the Belkins. The difference appears to be that they're tighter as you put them on the cable. (The cable wouldn't just fall out even before using the compression tool.)Pick these up, folks... EXCELLENT product!

Great Product - but make sure you know what you're doing!!!!!
These connectors work great and are very cost effective too when you buy them in bulk. They will be 100% watertight if installed correctly...and stay that way for many years. Make sure you get all the tools you will need to install them correctly (several different tools are required) - otherwise they won't work correctly and you'll get signal leaks. If you have never installed coax cable before you need to do several "practice runs"on some scrap cable (and burn through a few of these connectors) to figure out how to do it correctly.

!!!!Do not buy without reading first!!!!
As other reviewers have said these are not quad rated and will not fit your RG6 cable without a lot of wasted time. To use these you have to cut off the outer plastic leaving the shielding and plastic core, which takes to much time to get perfect, otherwise the heads slip right off after compression. The reason for this which you can't see from the pictures is that they provide, is that there is a small separator inside the connector. (See attached pictures)As a comparison I've placed another brand right next to it. This fitting is the one on the bottom in the first picture and the one on the right in the second. It's a waste of time and money to get these. You will end up wasting more heads just trying to get them on just right. The cuts needed need to be perfect so that you don't go to deep while stripping enough away to actually use these. Then once you think you have it and compress the head, tug on the connector and watch it come off, you will take the entire bag and toss them in the trash. Spend the extra money and get good connectors like the one shown as a comparison.

Great connectors.
Excellent connectors. Great seal. Just watch which RG6 cable you use. I used some dual RG6 that had a slightly thicker outside coating that proved to be difficult to work with using the connectors. Not the connectors fault, cable was the problem and needed a slight trim with a ox cutter.

It wasn't smart, but I cut my CATV line outside by accident. To save the repair bill, I ordered these connectors and fixed the cable on my own and it has performed flawlessly for the better part of a year. Easy to use and I'm well satisfied. I recommend looking up the directions from the manufacturer before attempting to install this connector. That way you know exactly what to do and what to expect.

Very good quality
I was a bit skeptical on the quality since the price was so good compared to other ones on Amazon but was pleasantly surprised. Great quality and were a better fit than the ones that came with my compression tool. The box connectors were a good bonus! Highly recommend this product.

Good connectors, but barrels were not included.
I bought these to splice a damaged cable indoors, any replenish my supply of RG6 connectors. My cable provider installs dual shield RG6 indoors and these fit easily and snug. This item says that five F type barrels are included, which I needed for my splice, but they did not come. The seller is making me whole, but it is a caveat.
