I had Mothership Connection and P Funk Earth Tour albums as a teen so discovering this set was great surprise. This music was so ahead of its time, it’s ahead of its time almost forty years later. This is a funk fans must have set

Great set, definitely classic albums. Straight Re-issues, no remastering at all. So if you have any of these on CD already you won't need to get this one. I Love Parliament, still have 2 of these albums on vinyl!! But this CD set is no big deal. Hopefully they'll do a real remastered/reissue series soon. Keep Funkin'

Nice to have these available so I can sparingly play my vinyl copies on a B&O Beogram linear-tracking turntable. Sonically good. The price is incredible. Get 'em and give up the funk as you should.

As far as the music is concerned, this is Psychedelic-Funk at its finest. Packaging wise, it’s clean and simple. Audio fidelity is good, CD “mastering” is not too hyped, analog vibe retained.GREAT PRICE for 5 classics.

This is what I listen to growing up

As a fan of classic hip hop there is nothing more satisfying than listening to the albums in this collection. Their music has been sampled in so many rap songs that there's too many to name. Parliament are proably the most prominent funk music act in history with maybe James Brown as an exception. Their music features ridiculously creative song titles, unique tempos, a wide range of instruments and tones, fantastic vocals, inventive recording techniques and an altoghether fun vibe that you will want to listen to over and over. If you like classic hip hop you will like it. If you like funk music you will like it. And if you like both you will love it.
