Extra-Large Bamboo Serving Tray

I have to use a walker now, and although I have one with a webbed seat, the seat is not stable enough to carry food and beverages, especially when hot. I also need help in putting things away, or taking them to another room. This tray was boxed securely, came in perfect condition, is lovely, and I use it constantly. The sides are high enough to keep everything in, and I will probably use a couple of small bungee cords to fix the tray in place (although it stays pretty set where it is, even when I walk and turn the rollator). I'm also considering putting a mat down (like a dish drying, liquid absorbant mat), to reduce sliding. Right now I'm just using paper towels. This tray is attractive enough for display, but very sturdy & well made for actual use, and I'm very happy with it. Update: I've been using this tray as described above for well over a year now, and I'm amazed. It's supported very heavy bags of groceries so that I could put items away easily. I eat all of my meals off of it. And -- although I try to use potholders -- sometimes I've had to briefly carry hot dishes on it, before I'm able to put down padding. Despite heavy daily use, the tray is as pristine as it was out of the packaging. It wipes clean easily, and it is just beautiful. Based on my experience, I cannot recommend this tray highly enough!!

I don’t like that it showed up broken/split. I’m too lazy to send it back to get a new one. Luckily I’m only using it to protect my pets food from the IRobot and not using it to serve people with or it would be pretty tacky to use in the manner it was designed for. Update: I was issued a refund without even asking for one, so customer satisfaction is important for this company. I did order a second one that came in good shape.

I love this tray. It is well made with smooth wood and tight corners. I use it nearly every day in my “she shed.” It is large enough for my breakfast - cereal bowl, teapot, teacup, juice, water all fit on the tray. It also holds a dinner plate with room to spare. The size fits perfectly on the glass top of my vintage bamboo coffee table. My first one split down the middle after many months of gentle use (and I never immersed it in water). I deducted one star for that. Fortunately the company did replace it under warranty. The new one has a reinforcing cross member on the bottom. I keep a kitchen towel on the whole tray in case of spills while carrying it and to keep things from sliding around. I have a hot pad under my teapot as well. I’m thinking a sealant might help too.

These days I am walker dependent but still very active in and out of my home. My walker is the type that rolls on four wheels, and has a padded seat that is about 12" x 12". This tray fits perfectly over the seat (I never sit) between the legs on each side and greatly enlarges both the "cargo" space and the steadiness of the objects I am transporting. It has made my work so much more efficient. I can now take all the ingredients for meal preparation out of the fridge at one time, knowing that none will fall off. When tidying up around the house I can put many items securely at one time on this tray. I also now have a second tray on my walker in the garage, which makes it so much easier with cleaning and organizing out there. My neighbor uses the same type of walkers and she has had me order two for her, one for the first floor walker and one for the second floor walker. I do put paper towels down on the tray surface to keep it clean. But it does clean up easily in any case. I am so thankful that I found these trays!

I have this in my home office; I purchased it because of its large size. It holds an expresso maker, cups, and a couple of airtight bean holders. I wanted something to protect the cabinet it sat on if there was a leak or spill. It looks nice, not some cheap plastic try.

I needed a tray with a lip for my walker, this fit the bill. It's light weight and still sturdy. I use 2 way tape to stick it to the seat of the walker and now can safely put dishes on it for transporting to other rooms. I don't have to worry about them sliding off. It also make a great serving tray when I need it by itself.

I do not want to be negative for this review. It fit perfectly on my table in my bedroom. It was light weight; price was good; only thing is the quality of the wooden tray is not supreme.
