I loved it but the only thing was the bulbs only lasted 2 weeks and very awkward to get to them I've done it 3 times so far not had it on much I do like to put the lights on tho .

Its a bit smaller than I wanted and I don't feel that it 'throws' the heat out very far, but to be fair, my lounge is quite big. Other than that, no complaints as it looks good, it has a lovely cosy orange flame effect, its easy to operate, its good value and if you sit near it, it does warm you up.

I bought this as I'd wanted some supplemental heating for one of my rooms and after doing all the usual research, I settled on this one as it had plenty of good reviews and was just about within my embarrassingly tight budget.Yes, it is fairly obvious that the glowing logs are not real, especially if you get within a couple of feet of it but realistically, how often are you likely to sit right in front of the thing, scrutinising the "embers"? Having seen rather a lot of these type of imitation log burners, many of those that are twice the price of this one are no more convincing.That minor thing aside, if you are on a limited budget or not looking to splash out, I will always recommend this brand and model.It is attractive and space efficient, the level of heat is kicks out is brilliant and easily controlled thanks to the heaters adjustable dial and very reliable inbuilt thermostat.I often pop the fire light on in the evenings after work or very early mornings even when I don't have the heat switched on because the glow is relaxing.My Dobermann is especially delighted with this heater and lays infront of it for hours in the evenings, just watching the gentle flickering from the imitation log embers and soaking up the heat. She has a very painful condition affecting her spine for which she is on constant medication and wonderfully, the dog-height warmth definitely helps her to be less stiff and tense when she moves after a long sleep. As soon as I'm able to, I'll be buying a second one so she can do the same thing when we are in the other room together.

Instant heat as soon as it’s turned on, light is such a cool aspect of it too and you can have the light on (resembles a fire being on) without the heat being on too so if you wanted a movie night in front of the fire without the heat like myself is a must.
