McKesson Foam/Gel Bariatric Seat Cushion for Wheelchairs

This has been an absolute life saver!! My mom uses a bariatric wheelchair and it has been very difficult to find a cushion that fits the exact width of the seat. This one fits perfectly. The bonus is that it is the perfect firmness as well. It's firm enough that she no longer feels the bars under her seat (since the wheelchair is quite old and has regular wear and tear) AND it's soft enough that it feels like she's sitting on a cloud. It truly is amazing. For the price, you can't beat it!! It comes with a strap to secure to the back of the wc but to be honest we haven't even used it because the bottom has such a good grip that the cushion doesn't even move. I highly recommend it!

The cushion was amazing for about the first week, but now it has become soft and flattens out now when you sit on it. I am 210lbs, but this thing says it is for 275/350 pound people. Really disappointed that this cushion lost its firmness. I’m sure it would be great for a 140 person or less.

We bought this cushion to go in my mom's wide-seat transport chair. It fits very well and is very good quality. It has just enough give to be comfortable and is firm enough to hold it's shape. It doesn't feel like you are sitting on a board. We loved it so much we got one for an old recliner to give it new life. I would highly recommend this product.

The cushion is fine enough, however the straps are not long enough. I bought the cushion to fit an extra wide wheelchair and the cushion fits perfectly and seems like it will be comfortable. The straps, however, are not long enough to clip around the back of the wheelchair so that the cushion is secure. I now need to buy an extender strap to be able to make this work safely. Otherwise the cushion could slip out and the person I purchased this for, end up on the floor.

Straight forward 3 inch thick Seat Cushion made of very comfortable, easy to clean material. Great value for the money. I am a heavy guy and I can feel the support of this cushion so it is very good.
