Q: Will the Blink camera work at night using theater covers? The infrared is not covered? Thanks

Im not sure what those are?..if lense and infrared aren't covered id think fine..if it sticks up somehow could physically block view.. I use some of mine with infrared off such as cats litter area, its not as clear and you need some light ( i use xmas lights) ..we do that there and for outside cats sow it doesnt click and have a red light come on thst might startle them..

Q: Can anyone explain how this works? Does it connect with your phone? How do you save a video?

The cams wifi to router and to sync module... Ours was the blink 2, so ours sends info from modules to cloud, app lets us screenshot, email, or download footage... Newer ones do same but i think a small fee for that..otherwise saves to a flashdrive i think... We were grandfathered in on free cloud, but i would gladly pay vs saving on a card bc i like the convenience of cloud.. Blink app is on our tablets and phones i dont think theres one for computer but 2 tabs and 2 phones is plenty.. Had em 5 yrs now, love em for wildlife, security, package deliveries, and watchin over elderly pets... Just be sure you have good wifi ( we use 3 extender pods) .. only as good as your wifi... also remember to exit out of app and log back in periodically on ALL DEVICES.. just like anything..good reboot does wonders👍
