I had to take off a star because one of the inner packages was torn open and the zipper tape inside was dirty. Sure, I can wash it before I use it but I really shouldn’t have to. Also, I was shorted one of the lavender pulls that matches the tape pictured and I only received 9 instead of 10. Wouldn’t have been as much of a problem if it was one of the colors I’d be less likely to use like the dark green or orange. I haven’t sewn with them yet so I can’t comment on that, but it seems like they will otherwise work for the type of projects I make with zippers. The colors are nice and bright, they come in a good variety of colors and the pulls match.

The zippers are great. Could use more pulls and navy blue is needed in the assortment.

The zippers are good for the price, but the tape part is softer and more flexible than most #5 zippers. This made it way, way harder to thread on the pulls!Solution to threading on zipper pulls is to add a tiny amount of lubricant onto the teeth. I used a tiny bit of silicone lubricant, just on the first 1/2 inch where you thread on the pulls. This made it a million times easier!!! - I also used the youtube videos that suggest using a fork. Which didn't work well without the lube, but worked fine after I lubed.Second tip: Feeding the teeth evenly at the very beginning, minimizes ripples in the tape.Third tip: Thread all the pulls onto the tapes, so when you need a length, it's ready to go.

I love these zippers by the yard. The only downfall is that the colors of the zipper heads aren't a very close match to the color of the zippers. But for me, and what I'm using them for that's not an issue.

They came packed perfectly. Colors good. They seem a little lighter then I like and fray a bit. No biggie east fix. The price was great. They should work fine.

As described the zippers are bright and cheerful. Not as sturdy as some other brands but useful for light bag making.
