Four Things Women Want from a Man Paperback – February 7, 2017

This book has the potential to change the entire landscape for the black family! If we can get this book into the nads of every black man AND get them to read and study it together, it will change our community as we know it. The information inside is Biblically sound and relies heavily on the men in the family to take full responsibility for themselves and their wives and families. This is where the real work begins! It was an easy read and so informative. I would definitely recommend this as required reading for black men in churches, schools, prisons, anywhere you can get it to them. I was very impressed with A.R. Bernard's transparency into his own 45 year marriage.

I made the right decision on buying this book. I enjoyed it very much and look forward to making better choices in life

This book is very interesting & informative! Good book!

Self help is not my go to genre I've read a few from Iyanla, Joel Osteen, even pastor (happiness is a way of life) but this was by far my favorite. It was a quick read, filled with helpful information and kept my interest from start to finish. I'm not married but I hope to be and this book provides a very sobering/realistic view of the institution. I loved the personal stories from pastor and the women it help in visualizing the outcome when these principles or lack there of were applied. The four traits are also very appropriate for women and I feel equipped with some useful tools to help improve my daily living.

This is a much needed book in the world today. So many women are hurt and abused by men in their relationships. Many men have no clue as to how they are to treat a women in their relationship. This book gives a step by step overview on how you should be acting and what you should be doing. I was happy to read this book and find that yes finally a prominent man in this world who can profoundly explain what a woman really wants and needs from a man.

This is my pastor and I love hearing him on Sundays. I was very curious about this book because it's been promised to us for awhile. My wait was not in vain. It's concise, not preachy. I like the fact that anyone can pick this up, read it and apply all or some of the principles to your life immediately or a little later. I also like the fact that as you're this it will make you think and before you realize you're finished with the book. It's also not a book that will be read once and put down. It's a good reference periodically and the best part, you'll soon realize that the principles apply to so many areas in your life also.

Excellent Book, quick easy read that i could not put down once I started and will become my number one gifting item. In the book AR Bernard comes from a place of experience sharing his own personal story and years of counseling as the foundation to the truth and teachings on each page. At first I wasn't sure I was open to yet another man advising us women on what they thought we wanted until I thought a man that listens could do just that and I heard an interview where he said that him listening to his wife was the exact reason he was inspired to write the book. lol I felt not only empowered but inspired to want to apply his points to my relationship. I learned so much and he made so many valid points that I found myself wondering how I could have ever existed without this amazing book I now know that my values principles and morals played a huge part in the type of relationships I have had. This book is helping me want to be better at all 3. Can't wait for part 2 and 3!!!

Even though I don't have a favorite supreme being, this book changed my life in ways words can not describe. I did not grow up with either of my parents and suffered a very painful childhood so understanding myself let alone women has been a daunting task in my 38 years of existence.I gained a lot of confidence in myself and most importantly the inherent deficiencies in men and women that we're supposed to address for each other. I'm now at peace with who I am and for the first time in my life I am enjoying a stable relationship with great enthusiasm for the future.No matter where you are on your journey I highly recommend this book. Whether you're married or playing the field this will give you an edge!It's by far the most important book I've read and I plan on reading it over and over again.Thank you A.R. Bernard!

Brilliantly written....Easily one of the most insightful books on how to be a ‘real man’. Would highly recommend it to any man that wants to be a godly man, husband and father.

This book is so educative and has taught me so much about men and women in relationships.I could see where I have been going wrong and I could relate to the scenarios given in the book!!!!
