Clairol Colour Gloss Up, Temporary Colour Gloss, Pretty In Hot Pink, 130ml

This is a great hair dye to use at home. The box clearly shows the expected colour once applied. Instructions are easy to follow and each item within the box is clearly numbered for ease of use. The items are easily mixed and application bottle makes applying to hair really easy. After short wait, its time to rinse out the hair and apply the conditioner which has a crazy texture and smells really nice. The colour has taken really well to my hair and hair doesn't feel really dry after use. It has now been a couple weeks since I used this dye and roots are starting to show but this is expected from all hair colouring. Overall I'm really pleased with the product and overall colour outcome. Will definitely be using again!The only downfall is the size of it, I have a lot of hair so always need 2 boxes for a full head dye.

I had never heard of toning gloss before but I liked the sound of it as I colour my hair and part way between colours it can look as though it needs a freshen up. I don’t want to colour it too often so this sounded well worth a try. As well as boosting the colour and tone it offers deep conditioning with Shea Butter and Argan Oil and my hair certainly needs a bit of TLC too. .I loved that this was so easy to use. I washed my hair, applied the gloss, waited 15 minutes and rinsed my hair - job done! No mess and no horrible smell. You can just leave it on for two minutes (and any other amount of time up to 15 minutes) but I know my hair is slow to do anything! Sometimes when I use a standard deep conditioning treatment it feels like it has weighed my hair down but it didn’t feel like that with this and my hair felt super soft and smooth.Whilst I didn’t notice a much change to my colour, it did lift it a bit so it looked as though it was freshly coloured. I think that the important thing to remember about this product is that it’s a toning gloss rather than a hair colour/dye. The idea is that you use it to freshen up your coloured hair rather than completely change the colour and/or cover grey.So, taking that into account. I would say I was pleased with the outcome. It should last up to ten washes and there is enough in the tube for two applications which means the price is pretty good too.

I have this Clairol Colour Gloss Up/ Temporary Colour Gloss in a warm caramel brownie.This instant toning gloss arrived boxed in the sealed squeezable 130ml tube.The procedure how to use it was printed on the box and I've followed it.There is more information about this product after scanning QR code from the box.I have bleached blond hair, dry, thin with lighter ends.I left it on my hair for about 15 minutes.The results is nice, warm caramel, a bit gingerish and a bit lighter than I've expected, but nice.Roots are more vibrant, probably because they were lighter than the middle part before applying this colour.Hair are easy to brush, soft and glossy.I think it is more suitable for darker shades to add gloss and revive the colour.Easy to apply, the result is OK, but I'm not happy that for £8.99 disposable gloves weren't included in the set /'user guide says - wear gloves to avoid product staining of the skin' /.

This is more of a conditioning treatment as opposed to covering grey hair as it doesn’t involve any mixing of solutions and lasts up to 10 washes. I used to love using these non permanent colours when I was younger and then they seemed to disappear off the shelves in favour of permanent hair colour treatments. Glad to see them back! I’m delighted with this product so far. It comes in one tube and you apply to damp hair. After 15 minutes I rinsed off and when dry my hair had a noticeable shine and looked quite glossy. I noticed a couple of grey hairs poking through so it’s not going to cover those but has made my hair feel great and I look forward to using this every couple of weeks to give that little boost to my fine hair.

This hair gloss is great to refresh hair colour vibrancy, shine and condition between colouring. I wanted a boost of warm copper and I got it! It is so easy to use, smells amazing and the shine on my hair is a wonderful surprise.I have quite long hair and this would be enough for one more use. I followed the instructions and shampooed first then towel dried. No conditioner at this stage as I believe the hair needs to be porous to accept the colour. It says to keep it 2-15 minutes but I kept it 5 minutes more only to have a brighter colour and it really worked. It rinsed out easily. I then conditioned as usual and air-dried.My hair looks very natural in real life and I think I'll stick with this for a while.
