This deposits a little color each time you use it. I leave it on a little longer than necessary. It seems to leave more color that way. And it doesn't fade super fast. Just use cool water.

THIS is the bomb diggity mac daddy of color depositing shampoo!! I know reds are THE hardest colors to maintain because they fade so quickly, but this is a major game changer. I can use just regular shampoo for days at a time (I wash my hair everyday) on days I'm just hanging around the house or working outside and then use this if I'm going somewhere, and the color is instantly refreshed. Be sure to rinse your hair well because it's very pigmented, and it will stain your towels also wipe your shower walls immediately if it splatters. I highly recommend this, and a little really goes a long way. I have short hair so I can get away with using a nickel size. Just put it in your hair, let it sit while you soap up or shave your legs, then rinse. It's amazing.

This shampoo helps retain the color longer in between hair salon appointments for those with auburn/red hair. I mix it in with my regular shampoo.

I have red hair and my hair stylist actually recommended this and it works very vibrant color! It helps maintain and creates red hair as your hair grows. Just be warned it does dye your head red too.

Smells amazing and honestly last pretty well since I do not like having to use ice cold water to keep color. My hairdresser suggested me to use this between visits and as needed to keep my hair the shade of red I like. I use it about once a week sometimes go two weeks between uses and my hair looks like I just got touched up every time I use it. Highly recommended using gloved when using it as it will tint your hands. Try to stay away from neck and hairline as it will stain as well. Highly recommend for a redder touch to lightened hair and to stay away from the dulling of red that makes at least my hair more orange/pumpkin.

This stuff works! I’ve been transginger for many years now and I cannot keep the red in my hair very long. I’ve used other color depositing shampoos and conditioners before and this one works excellent! You can’t leave it on too long or it’ll be fire engine red- be sure to follow directions.
