Pravana Chromasilk Vivids XL Long Lasting Vibrant Color 8.45oz (VIOLET)

UPDATE: second photo is after 25ish washes. still bright and beautiful!🤗I absolutely ADORE pravana vivids! They last sooo much longer than any other colored dye I’ve tried. The attached picture is after 8 washes (I wash my hair every day) and it is still just as vibrant as day 1! I did use bleach prior to dyeing my hair just to make the color pop.

I prelightened my hair using punky and manic panic bleaches. I thought this tube would last me a few times but I was wrong lol. My bleached hair soaked up almost the entire tube!! So worth it though!!! This violet is so gorgeous!!! Pravana has always been the best brand for me, lasts longer than any other brand I've used!! I included a picture of my bleached hair before applying the violet and an after!

No one has mentioned when you touch your hair after you dye it it gets every where, I cant put up my hair with out it getting a purple tinted on my hands, when I sleep I wake up with it all over my face ears and neck. Pravana is "supposed to be the best" I do not see how as it is truly messy DAYS after it has been dyed, also I dyed it 4 days ago 1 wash, not counting the washing it out , it's already gone on the top of my head. More then likely wont use pravana again.

I’ve been a hairdresser for 20+ years & I have always used Special FX semi-permanent color for specialty/ fun colors because even though everything else about the color line we use at my salon is perfect, the semi-permanent “fun” colors have always been lacking. Then about a year or so ago one of my coworkers introduced me to Pravana & I couldn’t believe how amazing it is! This is really a “go-to” for every stylist I know, now myself included! The color range is immense, the colors are so vibrant & long lasting & best of all they are ON POINT! I can’t recommend it enough!

This is the pravana purple that you want to purchase! I have used numerous colors and numerous brands over the years. So far pravana is the brand to go with. Not all colors are made the same. For instance the other purple that pravana puts out does not even come close to this purple. The blue that is in the picture is the blue topaz by pravana. What I have noticed is the purple holding on strong and the blue fading fast. Both of my nieces had the purple and blue in their hair and purple is still looking great after almost 2 months!

By far my favorite shade of purple and my favorite hair dye 100 x over I've tried I can't even remember how many different brands that just seem to fall short each time eater on the shade another color that holds or the longevity of the color at this brand and shade it's perfect I have had my hair purple for going on ten years and I usually have to dye my hair once a month to keep it vibrant but with this hair color I dye my hair every four to five months and not even a full dye more like a color refresher I love it

I honestly think this is fake. I heard really good reviews about this brand. People say that Pravana dyes last over a month. Well, that’s not the case for me. It faded after 2 washes. I’ve had purple/blue/red hair for over 6 years and used many brands. This dye was one of the worsts I’ve used. After a thorough wash, air drying my hair, and no heat used, the dye transferred on my clothes and skin. This is my first time purchasing this product and I believe the tube was filled with a different dye. Keep in mind that there wasn’t a seal. My experience does not match up with the stories I’ve heard from people who used authentic Pravana dyes and I’m very disappointed with my purchase.

I have used every dye on the planet looking for the perfect dark purple, but yet vibrant color. The others did not last and some even fried my hair (the ones claiming to be permanent) I am seriously in LOVE with your color! It actually made the ends look normal again, (with a good conditioner) and it is the most beautiful bright gorgeous purple ever! I will never ever use punky, manic, ion, arctic fox, splat, or any other color period! I love this product, it was worth every penny! WARNING: prepare your area, the dye is so awesome, but it was the hardest to get off anything you don't want it on you or anything. I have used every color on earth, I always get a drop here or there no matter how careful I am. This stuff stains immediately (which is awesome) for your hair! Prepare surrounding areas and bathtub. My tub has a purple stain just from from rinsing it out. Again, totally worth it! <3 you guys thanks for making such an amazing product that works!
